Beautiful, large rooms, location, etc...... All true!! We usually stay at the Hilton but wanted a hotel with larger rooms and quite frankly, a change. WOW!! The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. However, the best part were the people (employees) that we encountered during our stay. From Walther, Walter and Joseph at the front desk, Chris at the door,...

We love this hotel because of is size...small. Its beautifully decorated and easy to get around in. Walking distance to all the midtown spots. Easy check in and check out. We were there over this Holidays and it was decorated beautifully. The rooms are a nice size.

Nice hotel right near Times Square. Staff was very friendly, from the door man to the front desk and even bar staff. Nice little bar right off the lobby with food available to order. Room was very quiet and large. Nice big bathroom with a HUGE bath tub. Bed and sheets were incredibly comfortable, but I wasn't a fan of...

I was on business trip, so I didn't have to pay, otherwise, this hotel is not in my price range. They have a fee of some sort in addition, but probably because of this, they had something I had never seen in any other hotels in the USA. One was a free shoe shine service. If you leave it by...

I admit that I'm very particular about my choices in Hotels, it's based off my understanding of how things should be, having myself worked in a luxury property in DC across from the White House and my Husband being a Hotel Executive, we know Hospitality! The Michelangelo hit all of the appropriate marks, from our check in at arrival, to...

Centrally located, old style hotel with great amenities and rooms that are a good size especially for the price in NYC. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. Loved the experience. All staff were friendly and very willing to do whatever to make my stay a pleasant one.

This review would be very good or excellent except that the bathroom had an oversight...soiled toilet seat, that makes me unable to rate as highly as I would have. They re-cleaned that bathroom right away but unfortunately made no effort to extend any gesture beyond that, considering I used the toilet before realizing it was soiled. A bit traumatic. Showered...

Stayed here on business and it's a great hotel, good location. Nice looking lounge, but I didn't get a chance to check it out. I liked the room and it was good sized and the hotel had a very charming feel. If you book on Hotels.com or one of the other sites, be aware, the hotel charges an extra 'hidden'...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
