Stayed in a Premier Park View Suite on the 40th floor for 3 days, incredible view, large room especially for New York, nice sitting area to enjoy the view, perfect location, very clean room, bath was a little dated and our phone in our room didn't work or I would have given 5 stars, other than that the service was...

The Park Lane is just south of Central Park and nicely nested between two subway stations. The hotel offers a cool haps hour with Champagne, Red and White wine and some cheeses. The food is average. Pizza slices, mini tacos etc. But its Free so nice little appetizer. Rooms are clean and spacious. Best they offer free phone call to...

Be aware of taxi touts outside of the airport as they can cost you hundreds of dollars. Use the yellow cabs or prebook. It shouldn't cost more than $65 and that's with a tip. Unless traffic is a problem. We spent our 2016 holiday here from 22nd Dec to the 29th. Very impressed with the outside when we pulled up...

It is 2017. With all that is happening in the world with respect to cyber-attacks, you would expect that a well-respected hotel would provide guests with secure internet access -- but they didn't. I know that the purpose of a hotel stay in NY is not to watch television, but a better choice of channels would be a welcome relief...

Sixth visit to New York - first time in the Park Lane Hotel. We normally stay midtown and know the area well by now and although the hotel we stayed in there is very old and very shabby you can't get a hotel in that location for that price! This year we decided to splash out a bit more (but...

The management and staff were excellent, resonsive and extremely helpful. The room was clean with a great view of Central Park. The package that we had included hors d'oeuvres and drinks and 24 hour valet parking. The location on Central Park South was convenient and a real New York experience.

The Park Lane provided everything that we needed for a wonderful weekend. We woke up to a beautiful snow covered vista as well as enjoying the view at night. The brunch was exceptional. Everything we needed was in walking distance...the theater, shopping on 5th avenue, Central Park and the Boathouse. What a great weekend!

Very pleasant stay. The staff were courteous and attentive, and the rooms were clean and bright. The location is excellent being right across from Central Park. I will definitely stay there again upon my return.

My Premier executive room located at the 42nd floor offers a fantatisc view on Central Park. It 's rue that the room could benefit from more update equipement but giving the rate, one may consider that the quality/price ratio is quite convenient

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
