I stayed at the Belevedere a couple of years ago, and it was okay - so I booked again. Come to find out the entire hotel has different rooms. The rooms they show online are not the standard or deluxe room you get when you check in. Our room was old and outdated. Everything smelled like smoke, even though this...

This is a lovely middle of the range hotel in a great location just a short walk from Times Square. The staff were friendly on arrival and the room was spacious with two double beds. All the normal facilities such as air-conditioning, tv, safe etc but also had tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge. We were quite high up but...

Spent 2 nights here on a girls weekend - May 19 and 20. This hotel was exactly what we were looking for as we wanted a nice clean room but not too expensive, yet near to Times Square. The Belvedere fit the bill on all counts. The room is not too exciting - but I am fairly picky and I...

Very pleased with this hotel. Stayed 3 nights. Booked online through hotel site without any recommendation, and not sure what to expect so we were pleasantly surprised. Reasonable price for spacious room complete with microwave and fridge and just a 2-5 minute walk to Times Square, theatres and restaurants, but off the beaten path enough to be quiet. Clean and...

Located on a quite NY west side street, this hotel had a staff that was really wonderful. From the second the cab pulled up as I was checking in, there was always someone there to get the door or help with luggage. The cafe is only open to 11am but it is good food if you do make it. The...

I wasn't entirely sure what to expect from the Belvedere when I booked, 'though I did note the 4 stars it received from Tripadvisor users. It turned out to be quite a nice clean hotel in the theatre district. The rooms were reasonably large and came with a little pantry, including microwave, sink, coffeemaker and fridge and with the minimart...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
