Honestly this hotel shouldn’t even be operating! The pictures online are nothing like like the real deal. Rooms are disguising and smell horrible. Windows are not sealed at all and you can hear everything outside. And they have the nerve to charge you a $40.00 fee for “facility charges” like WiFi and phone calls. Horrible customer service, horrible management.

Hotel with no towels.. unacceptable. Needs an update asap, dirty carpet. The ceiling is damaged. The noise from the elevator doesn't let you sleep. Calling the customer service didn't get anything done until 24 hours later.

New York City, New York1 contribution
We have been staying at the hotel for a number of weeks (here long-term for work) and have had a great experience with the help of some of the staff. The best people at the hotel are Jenny at check-in, who we love, and Agata, our housekeeper on floor 21 - who really takes care of us. Right from check-in, Jenny was warm and kind and upgraded us to a much larger room with a balcony - knowing that we would be staying for a long time, it has made the world of a difference for our stay in NYC! The hotel is a little dated, but very comfortable, we are happy. Every time we walk by the desk, Jenny asks if we need anything. Incredible customer service! Agatha, our housekeeper, on floor 21 is also amazing. She cleans the room impeccably and always leaves what we need, including special requests. The same cannot be said for other hotel staff though. When Jenny or Agata are away /off - the replacement housekeeper on Mondays and Tuesdays on 21 is terrible. She doesn't change our sheets or make our bed, doesn't bring enough towels, doesn't replace the toilet paper or tissues. Quite honestly, I don't know what she does at all. So, on those days, when we need something, we have to ask the desk. If Jenny isn't there, the nightmare continues. We request items (like coffee for the room) and they don't deliver what we ask for. We ask for 6 towels, they give us 2. We ask for regular coffee, they give us decaf. This is the only part of the stay that has been a real struggle. If Jenny or Agata are away, we just give up - as nothing gets done. You need more staff like Jenny at check-in and Agata on floor 21!!

You can find some pretty great deals online, but then you add $40 in taxes, $40 in "Resort Fees", $75/day parking, and your deal just became a $350/night hotel. I was supposed to have a King Suite, but they gave me a Queen Suite. The layout of the rooms is extremely weird, we had a tiny sort of kitchen type situation, a small and awkward sitting area/living room ? and then a bedroom + tiny bathroom. Furniture all over the room(s) was dated, beat up, ding'd, damaged, we had holes in our couch, and then to top it off our bed had the blanket on the bottom, sheets on the top which completely geeked my wife out. We had to request multiple new sheets and make our own bed. Two window AC units (likely from 1990) were installed in the windows, loud as hell, but worked. Like the review states.... its a place to stay. Would i come back ? Likely not
