This is the hotel that my company always chooses for us to stay in. I have been checked in multiple times by Nana Who always greets me with a smile and is so courteous in checking me in! Curtis has helped me multiple times as well to get ice or find my room. They definitely make me feel at home...

We called a few days before our arrival and asked for a good view. Coincidentally the gentleman we spoke over the phone was the same person that checked us in. Diesel did an exceptional job checking us in and also had the great room with a view ready for us. The studio suite was spacious and very clean. We would...

First let me say...Wow! I am blown away by how I was treated at this hotel. The attention to Customer Service is by far the best I have experienced in the New York City or anywhere else for that matter. I arrived and there was a problem (my fault) with my reservation. Nana, at the Front Desk, took care of...

My wife and I decided to spend a night in the city. Last year we stayed at the Affinia { now the Stewart Hotel} and we had a great room and enjoyed our time there greatly. We decided to give it a try one year later. Many times the stress and strain of checking in can be a pain! Again...

We stayed for a couple of nights in mid-Feb with our 4 & 2 yrs old. Tom, Margaret, Diesel and Marceau were very friendly and helpful (bell folks & front desk). The hotel staff would rate about the top for friendliness (we've stayed at about 15 hotels in NYC many at 3x the rate). For the price, the room was...

Everythng was great for the most part. The location was perferct. The towles and wash cloths smelled burt but we didnt notice that until they were wet. The heat in the room could not be controlled which made the room really stuffy and uncomfortable. We just plugged in the A/C unit so it was not so hot. The bathroom sink...

The staff, especially Jenny, makes you feel welcome right from the start. The Concierge Desk is very helpful with directions and recommendations. This is an ideal location, within walking distance and central to so many sites.

Wife and I stayed here for four nights and I was impressed. Rooms were much bigger than i was expecting and nice, It could be a bit noisy and times and the bathroom was quite small, but those were the only two drawbacks. Staff was very nice and its was just a block from the subway station.

Staying in Chelsea

Neighbourhood Profile
Chelsea
Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s jewels when it comes to neighbourhood life. The contemporary art scene is an integral part of the neighbourhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost every night of the week and countless exhibits to explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York City, it’s also a diverse district with a vibrant nightlife scene. The opening of the High Line, an abandoned elevated train track transformed into a world-class pedestrian park, gave this neighbourhood new life as a tourist destination. The High Line provides visitors with a tranquil, elevated space with incomparable views, providing an unparalleled way to experience the city.
