Super trendy, so cute, love this place! Rooms are small, but it's NYC so it's to be expected. There's a mini bar that's totally inticing and had some cool/different stuff in it. I stayed for a conference and they booked me there, but I loved the location and hotel so much is def stay there on my own!

Soho Grand Hotel is an awesome hotel in a great location, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable rooms with all you need. The hotel is close to the subway station which makes it easy to get around New York.

Staying in NYC is much about your preferred location. My wife and I like being away from Midtown. The Soho Grand is a great choice to explore lower Manhattan with its outdoor cafes, abundance of great and not so touristy restaurants and terrific shopping that rivals midtown with its boutiques and high end stores. A morning walk across the Brooklyn...

This hotel Used to be very nice. We came a lot just to get off the island and have a weekend in the city. It needs to be refreshed. This was definitely our last visit to the SG. July / Bad AC TERRIBLE!

The rooms are old. We were moved from our first room to be 'upgraded' just to be into the same room three floors up. THE ENGINEERING STAFF SEEMS TO CONTROL YOUR ROOM''S CLIMATE. The rooms have been the same temperature (freakin' hot) and it's ridiculous. The staff is very nice. But will I stay here again? No.

Stayed at the property back in Feb of this year. Had a bad customer service experience experience at checkout. I was going to a business meeting and got my dry cleaning back with a big stain. Forced to go to the meeting. I spoke with Michael, hotel manager, who said that to make it up, next time I come to...

Nice hotel. Beautiful lobby. Everything else was up to snuff. BUT, if you're going in the summer, beware. Air conditioning barely works. Couldn't get the temperature in my room below 76 degrees, despite the cranking the AC on full blast for a full day. Several of my coworkers in different rooms had a similar experience.

Just checked out of the SoHo Grand Hotel. I must say, it is a wonderful hotel in a great location just outside the Holland Tunnel in SoHo on West Broadway between Canal Street and Grand Street. No rooftop amenities at this property for those who are wondering. The Valet guys out front are superb as is the front desk staff....

Average hotel. Bathrooms feel old and dingy. For the price, there are much better places to stay. The hotel is close to a subway stop, which is nice. Make sure to visit the Highline and the Whitney! Fantastic!

Staying in SoHo

Neighbourhood Profile
SoHo
Once the artistic hub of New York City, SoHo (South of Houston) is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway teems with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore by foot. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district –majestic cast-iron architecture everywhere you look. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city. The pretty streets of Nolita (North of Little Italy) offer a more sedate vibe, with plenty of tiny boutiques and hip restaurants to seek out.
