I enjoyed my stay. Loved the view of the room and being able to see the 1 world tower. I would stay there again during my next visit to New York. Very central to everything Manhattan has to offer. It had been 5 years since my last visit to the big apple.

I booked (directly on the hotel website), a two days stay in the Soho Grand in NYC. I really loved the builing and the location. It would have been a perfect stay if ... the "check in" had been more smooth & that the construction work was a bit less noisy ... Prefer larger rooms on upper floor (16th). The...

Great location. We were able to get a great summer rate. Staff was very nice. The guys in the front were always happy to hail a cab or help with directions. The location was the best for what we wanted. I would stay again.

I have been staying at the SoHo Grand since 2000. When you travel a lot for business it's great to stay in a familiar place. I have always felt very welcomed and cared for. The staff really goes out of their way to make your stay a special memory. It is my go to hotel in NYC!

I travel to NYC on business several times a year and always stay here. It has an eclectic mix of people and a good vibe in the evenings. Walk-able to Wall Street. Far enough away to feel disconnected.

I was generally pleased with this hotel and would stay again. They went out of their way to provide access to an early check in after I arrived on a red eye, which was greatly appreciated. I also had a not so good service experience around a unusual crisis not likely to be experienced by other guest. But it was...

This hotel is vintage and very nice. However, it is so dark and hard to see in this hotel. The TV was great. I was able to log into my Netflix account. It was great. I was disappointed that only 3 of the outlets in the whole room. The one in the bathroom, the one that the clock was plugged...

The guys at the front are great and right on top of their game. The front desk was average and friendly. The tub in my room was quite dirty; blackish. The mixed drinks were great. Lots of mirrors in the hotel that need cleaning.

Soho Grand Hotel is located in the trendy Soho area in NYC. Interactions with the team there were quite impressive. Megan on the front desk very professional and welcoming, offering after a long flight, a speedy check in with a smile. The female blonde concierge (didn't catch her name) gave us a quick run-down on the city and help organize...

The hotel was certainly lovely. The decor was beautiful and the room large and comfortable. Beautiful linens (Frette) and comfy bed. However, we are still trying to settle our bill. We have been charged 3 times over incorrectly. Our Gift Certificate was not applied but instead charged. Less that friendly attitude during our dispute. Hopefully this will be taken care...

Staying in SoHo

Neighbourhood Profile
SoHo
Once the artistic hub of New York City, SoHo (South of Houston) is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway teems with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore by foot. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district –majestic cast-iron architecture everywhere you look. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city. The pretty streets of Nolita (North of Little Italy) offer a more sedate vibe, with plenty of tiny boutiques and hip restaurants to seek out.
