I arrived with a late flight to NYC and needed a night in hotel before meeting up with my friends locally the next day. I booked late (3 weeks before going) and the options were limited as I didn't want a hostel or spend £250+. I wanted to stay away from the hustle and bustle of midtown so chose UWS...

Ideal if you are on budget, as New York hotels are pretty expensive. Love the location and convenience of cafes, shopping etc The hotel lobby under renovation, lifts needs upgrading though. We got 2 corner unit rooms adjoined rooms as there were 3 of us.Looks like its been painted thus its clean. However been an old building they do have plumbing...

This a a very pro -vs- con hotel. On the pro side, the location is excellent. Across the street from a Riverside park, blocks from Central park and right by an excellent grocery store called Zabars. Easy on/off the subway, clean area and generally quiet for NYC standards. Room was clean, bed comfortable, AC worked (loud window unit) and water...

" It was a real disaster" -Incompetent and unpolite service. - The hotel fee was blocked four times on my creditcard. - Very small rooms. - Very old beds, furniture. - Would never recommend to anyone.

I didn't want to spend a fortune while taking two of my children to NYC for three days. The location, price and nice reception staff balanced out the tiny, dated rooms. The beds were comfortable and room was very clean. Our intention was not to spend the three days holed-up in our room anyway. We were out the door at...

My wif, youngest daughter and I stayed in a suite, and we stayed for 3 nights. We experienced a few pros and a lot of cons with staying here: Pros: - this hotel was in a very nice part of town. We felt very safe walking around and exploring the area - Riverside Park is about 50 feet from the...

The Riverside Tower Hotel is a decent bargain-price hotel in the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Small rooms? Yes. In need of some TLC? Yes. But for the price, this hostel-type hotel offers clean, safe and adequate accommodations with private baths in a quiet, wonderful part of the city across from Riverside Park. No frills, but you won't find a...

I like this hotel very much. I have been visited that palce twice. First of all this is amazing location for good price. There is Zabar's, subway, good cafes and restaurants and Riverside Drive Park near the hotel. Really, what more could you ask? Central park is very close too. You can find a fridge, microwave and TV in the...

This is not a luxury hotel but it's very good location and excellent price make it a good place to stay if you don't need anything fancy. My grandson and I had the 2-bedroom Suite which was very good in that it allowed each of us to keep our own nighttime hours without disturbing the other. The rooms were quite...

I have stayed at this hotel a lot of times as a matter of fact is our go to hotel every time we go which is at least once a year. I normally get a good view of the river but if you stay in the second floor you will not be as lucky. I suggest you get a room...
