I took my wife here for her 40th birthday to watch Wicked and Lucky Guy (Both shows were great, btw). These rooms exude luxury, especially the bed. For the City that never sleeps, this bed was incredibly comfortable! We had so much site seeing to do but it took everything to get out of bed because it was so comfortable.

We had a girls trip early November and stayed at this hotel. The staff was incredibly nice. The view from the bar down to Times Square was so amazing. We spent a few evenings there having either a night cap or an about to hit the town cocktail. The staff in the bar were so sweet and after just a... More

My sister and I stayed here in November. We were visiting friends for the week for a family celebration. We checked in around 2:00 PM on Friday and were able to access the room immediately. We were on the 10th floor in a 2 bedded room. We faced Times Square. There is a tall building across the street with bright... More

Hotel is right on times square. Rooms are much bigger than most hotels in Manhattan. Staff are friendly and rooms are clean. My room had a great view of Times Square. Food in the restaurant is good and walking distance to Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick's Cathedral and to a lot of restaurants in the area. Will highly recommend this hotel.

It was our first time in New York, and if you want to stay central, then stay here. We were a bit awestruck upon arrival as Times Square was a massive assault on the senses for us. You just say 'wow' when you see it - and the Renaissance is literally right on it. It's a brilliant hotel with helpful... More

We were in NY for 4 nights of Broadway shows and 4 days of sightseeing during the day. This was the perfect location for experiencing Times Square, being within easy walking distance of every Broadway show, and hundreds of restaurants conveniently nearby. The Renaissance Hotel was all about location, location. Once you enter the lobby, the hustle and bustle of... More

First of all let me say this was a very nice hotel, with a friendly, capable staff. The only reason for the four stars as opposed to five was it should not be so hard to find a cup of coffee early in the morning. Our room was very nice with plenty of room. Clean, modern, with a comfortable bed... More

We generally love Renaissance Inn Hotels, It is supposed to be the premium of the brand. This hotel is shabby, right from the front lobby. The sofas are ripped and OLD. Our bathroom was clean but the headboard and duvet were dirty-The noise in this location is loud and 24/7. We will not book this hotel again.

We wanted to stay in the center of all the attractions and right in the middle of Time Square. The views from the restaurant of this hotel are second to none. Check out the photo attached. The views of Time Square from the Marriott Marquis is a side view, but from the Renaissance, it is squarely facing the square, located... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
