Pictures make it look nicer than actual rooms and sheets were a bit stiff, but these things faded with the generous care of our housekeeper. Great location and gorgeous lobby. Price reasonable! Stayed with my mom and overall hotel had a classy feel. Would stay again.
Me and my wife have just came back from a 4nt stay at this hotel, the location is superb. You can see both Times Square and Central Park the moment you step out onto the street. Subways on the corner of the hotel and plenty of cafe and bars close by too. As for the rooms they were modern and spotless. Beds were brilliantly comfy too. We had no problems with lifts and anytime reception was busy the gents in the lobby were more than happy to help. It wasn’t extortionate to stay here and I found it great value for money. I’d happily stay here again and would recommend it too.
The hotel was great - clean and quiet. Beds were SUPER comfortable. Service was good. Hotel was central to everything and easy access to the subway which meant easy access to pretty much everywhere. Lots of restaurants close by and Starbucks next door. Has a decent fitness room. Water was available from the front desk until our last couple days when they no longer had any - which I thought was a bit strange. Would have been nice to have a hot tub as well. other than that it was great. Would stay here again.
Stayed for 2 nights, the staff were very polite, room very clean and quiet! Top shelf hotel, with a very nice bar area. The location is perfect and so close to central park Whilst I was on Business, I would stay there for pleasure no question
We stayed here in April, travelling from the UK and booked and paid for the hotel in advance via British Airways. When checking in h I showed the pre-paid voucher at Reception but the check in person did not take it off me and didn't seem interested so I assumed that it was recorded on their system. At checkout, I was informed that we needed to pay $218 per room for facilities and tax which we understood and this was charged to my credit card and a receipt issued. The check in assistant confirmed there was nothing left to pay. This weekend I got my credit card statement to find that the hotel had taken two other payments applied to the credit card on the day we left) totaling over £1500. I am unsure what these payments are for as you cannot charge to the room t this hotel and can only assume that they had charged me incorrectly for the rooms- especially as it was two incorrect payments and we had booked two rooms. . Mistakes happen but the really concerning thing is there is no way to get in contact with the hotel. The phone is never answered. There is no contact e mail on the website that works- it just takes you to a booking form. I have tried to contact them but Instagram and did have a reply asking for my e mail and phone details but that was over 4 days ago and no response. I did find an e mail that someone suggested on Trip Advisor for a similar situation and sent all the details and documents to this e mail. I have had no response. It is unbelievable that a hotel of this size has no way to be contacted and I can only assume this is part of a scam. This has ruined what was a great break and so I would encourage people to avoid this hotel. Lots of other reviews talk abut charging problems and I wish I had done my research. £1500 is a lot of money to me, Book somewhere else.…
The staff was incredible in dealing with all my demands in a very cheerful and friendly way. I was able to enjoy NY without having to figure out how to deal with my luggage. All communications with Caroline was fun and effective at the same time. I will always recommend.
Stayed for 3 nights this weekend. The location is great 10 min walking to central park and 10 min to time square. Just 3-4 min from the subway. Marcia from the front desk was amazing, helping us with the room and advice and just being nice and friendly The room was clean and comfortable, the only issue is the elevators (long wait each time we wanted to go up or down)
The only good thing I can say about this hotel is that there was hot water for my shower. We were supposed to have an iron and an ice bucket but didn’t. We requested them and it took 1 1/2 hours before they were delivered. The only place to get food in the hotel opened at 6;30 am but ran out of most food by 7:30 and didn’t restock. We often had to wait 10 minutes for an elevator. The lighting in the rooms was so poor that the only good light came from the window. There was no lamp in the room bright enough to read by. There were 20 of us who met and stayed there as we were there to celebrate a family occasion. All agreed that we would never stay there again.
I have stayed at the Park Central many times and it is always a good experience. Clean rooms and helpful staff. I really like the location of the hotel because I can easily get to any places I want to see. I understand that the restaurant is re-opening soon and that will make the Park Central PERFECT!
A great hotel located a stone throw from Central Park and Broadway action. Great bars and restaurants around the corner. A great staff. Parking and subway close by. I really love this hotel and all of the amenities. A great work space and lounge!
