once again hands down this is the best hotel in new York city I love the location the service and the late check out the only down side was that the bar in the lobby shut down early and from what I saw it was a full house the bartender told us we could order drinks in the room but...

The hallways smells like sweat and mold. The management attempted to update the rooms but the elevators are awful and customer service is perhaps the worst I have experienced at a Marriott property! I wished I stayed at the W down the street!

This hotel would have to rest on personal choice for locations...if you want to be in the middle and see it all this is your hotel. If you want to play and relax...there's a little too much noise and activity here. I stayed here more than 5 years ago and I will say it was a good stay both times....

We had room on 43rd floor with a fantastic view of Times Square and the Statue of Liberty. Kids loved it. Room was clean spacious. Staff was helpful and courtesy. And I have no idea what the complaints were about with elevator system, they functioned well and were very fast. Only odd thing was having to go from the 43rd...

We were in New York celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and stayed at the Marquis again because of its location with respect to the theaters as well as it being a very nice hotel. Our children had contacted the hotel to surprise us with gifts in our room and upon learning it was our 50th, Rosemary in In-Room Dining could...

This is a great place to stay, and not that expensive. We had a view of Times Square from our room. The service is excellent, and the staff if very helpful. You can buy theater tickets here. The restaurants are great, and The View at the top is a revolving restaurant. Go for drinks and the buffet. I recomment this...

The Marriott Marquis in Times Square is a massive hotel, catering mostly to conventions and tourists. It may very well be one of the largest hotels in Manhattan. It sits smack in the middle of Times Square, and it a great place to base yourself as you explore all of Manhattan. The hotel has had many renovations over the years,...

Stayed here on business...room was clean, bed was comfortable. Staff was very accommodating. Here's the best part: I had stored one of my nice wool sweaters in a drawer and forgot to pack it when I left. When I returned home and discovered it missing, I was just sick, as I was certain I would never see it again. I...

I stayed here for work. The hotel was very nice in a great part of town. You can easily walk to many of New York's attractions and is located in the heart of Broadway. It was about a $60 cab ride from the airport. The staff was friendly and efficient. The room showed some signs of aging. There were places...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
