From the moment we arrived we felt warm and welcomed from the front desk staff, they were all excellent. Our room was perfect as described- our Hudson River view room was perfect. We were 100% satisfied with our stay. The restaurant inside the hotel (Bull & Burger I think it's called) served an excellent breakfast. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hotel...

Let me start by saying that I am a loyal Marriott patron. I've been Platinum status for over five years. In short, I go out of my way to stay at a Marriott property in any city that I visit, whether for business or pleasure. The Marriott Downtown property is in a great location, right on the edge of the...

Dear Brandon C, Thank you for taking time out of your day to review your recent stay with us. I am troubled to hear that you had a negative experience with service. Please accept my sincere apologies. I will speak to my staff about the areas we have failed in our efforts to host. Thank you for recognizing the bell...

The Courtyard Marriott is an excellent value for the money! In a great location one block from the WTC, we walked all over Lower Manhattan, even to a late night bar on Pearl Street. The hotel is clean and the room was great... wonderfully comfortable bed, up to date bathroom amenities, and a 6th floor café for a quick coffee/breakfast...

We booked our room through Expedia, and were very pleased when we checked in to note our room was on the top floor of the hotel overlooking the 9/11 memorial; fantastic view. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel cost was less than staying in Midtown or other areas of NYC, and with the subway so...

A nicely refurbished hotel (beaten up by hurricane Sandy) in a location with easy access to the 9/11 Memorial and other Financial District spots. Far less crowded than Times Square and midtown. Reasonably priced and with a bar/restaurant.

We recently stayed at the Downtown Marriott and loved it! It is about a block from ground zero, it is not in the middle of all the noise and chaos however it is close to restaurants, subway, mall, Battery Park, wall street, etc. Although we only stayed for 3 days it was memorable. you have the convenience of a full...

The hotel is located in a fantastic area of New York. Walking distance to the subway and many excellent tour locations. Our room was modern and a great size. However, staff had trouble understanding our Australian accent and over charged our credit card. We were also sold local only stamps for postcards we wanted to send back home. Upon confronting...

Dear Zarra J, Thank you for taking the time to write this review. I am glad that you enjoyed your time in NYC. I am disheartened to read about some of your comments. We take your credit issue very seriously. Upon check in we take an authorization hold for room and tax plus incidentals. If no incidentals are used that...

Only stayed for 2 nights as travelling through but was lovely and comfortable. Food was OK but we ate out mostly. Have to mention some staff seemed a bit miserable but others very attentive and helpful. Would Def stay again for a night or 2 if needed.

This is an adequate hotel at best. Their rooms are in serious need of an update (stained furniture, poor bathroom lighting, outdated common areas). In addition, the fact that the hotel staff thought it would be fine to put me on a floor that cannot easily access the concierge lounge was a bit frustrating. If you do stay here and...

What a find! Very convenient to lower Manhattan sights (911 Memorial, Statue of Liberty, etc.) – and with moderately priced taxi ride – convenient to Broadway shows. We’ve stayed in theatre district area before, and the nightly rates are outrageous. The Marriott Downtown was a great find. Loved the hotel – clean, quiet, great service. Lovely area to walk around...
