Clean and comfortable. Decent size room by NYC standards. Clean bathroom, comfortable beds and adequate work area with free WiFi. Self serve breakfast is included and was one of the better ones I have had with some fresh fruit and hot items. Good choice for reasonable price in NYC. I would go back the next time I am in that...

If you are staying in NYC but are only using your hotel as a base to explore the city, then this place is perfect! It is cheap, clean and in a very good location. Otherwise, if you are here with a significant other or for a special occasion, i'd definitely stay elsewhere.

We stayed for one night recently. The staff was friendly and the room was small (as our most hotel rooms in New York) but comfortable. The beds were also fairly comfortable and we found the room to be pretty quiet. The morning breakfast was just okay, nothing special. As others have noted, they do charge $1 to store your bags...

I just stayed here last week, and it was great. The location could not be any better. 25th Street is very centrally located in Manhattan. You are a few steps from Broadway Street, and just beyond that is a great park that has a Shake Shack in the middle of it. Great food by the way. Also, the subway stop...

We stayed at the Comfort Inn Chelsea for two nights this week for an AARP rate of $215 per night. The room we had was small and cramped, and the bathroom was minute. We arrived early in the day - around 11, and we told quite curtly that check in was not until 3, and that we needed to store...

The price and location of this hotel in NYC was very good. We were able to easily walk from Penn Station to the hotel. The front desk was very helpful and check in was easy. The rooms were small, but clean. The complementry breakfast was more than enough to start our day of sight seeing. I would recommend that you...

Our stay at the Comfort Inn Chelsea was great - the property has a convenient location just a couple blocks from two subway stations and Madison Square park. The front desk staff were courteous and efficient and even one of the maintenance staff we encountered on the way down in the elevator was super-friendly and asked us how our stay...

I stayed here for one night with my husband and two children. I didn't mind the size of the room. We had two double beds plus a sitting area with a desk and a sofa. Also a refrigerator. Bathroom was tiny but everything was very clean in our room which was most important to me. Also plenty of hot water...

We stayed for a week in August 2011. It's tiny, the rooms are tiny, the location is great. The bathroom was smaller than bathrooms on cruise ships... come to think of it the room was smaller than cruise ship cabins. The breakfast is adequate & very tiny. Well... it's NYC, you get the picture. We had room 602 with 3...

I stayed here on a school trip in april 2010. I stayed for a week here and the rooms were great. Their single bed was a double and there were great room facilities. The foods was not great here. You got a good continental breakfast in polystyrene dishes in a cramped area, but it is new York so there is...

Staying in Flatiron District

Neighbourhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets- much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighbourhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being the home of a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
