Wonderful boutique hotel that we have been coming to for years. It is nice to see the same staff from front desk, doormen to housekeeping. Obviously they treat their employees as well as they do their customers.

The hotel couldn't be more central to Time square and the "Buzz" that New York has to offer. The Staff from the door being opened are welcoming and so very helpful and nothing was to much bother for them. The room was perfect - no view so to speak but hey when you only have to walk down the road...

A very nice little hotel. A good location, should you need to be slap bang in the middle of Midtown Manhattan. Pleasant staff. The room was quite small, but that is expected in New York. Beds were comfortable -- high quality Frette bed linen and robes. A negative for some would be that the room had no view, looking directly...

This is a good, classic, restored NYC hotel, close to almost everything we need when visiting New York. Cozy but small lobby with good coffee and apple cider available in the library room. The only negative is the small interior bar with no windows and restricted hours, infact unavailable to us during our entire stay, thus forcing us to go...

This was a wonderful small and quaint hotel. Front desk was unbelievable!! The location was incredible! We could actually walk anywhere-- which was a good thing because cabs were very difficult to get at the hotel. If I have any opportunity to visit NY again I would definitely consider staying here again!

Location is excellent, you should get rid of the unhealthy carpets in rooms, we had to change room due to extrem noise the first two nights in a neighboring room. Overall impression is good, mostly due to the location.

A very friendly Hotel where nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff from the moment I got out of the Taxi to the end of my 5 day visit. Whatever I asked for I was greeted with a polite positive response and quick service. The entire staff are extremely professional but without being over the top, relaxed...

This is a fabulous hotel in a great location just off 5th Avenue. Free coffee in the library (just off the lobby) in the mornings and Mulled cider after 11am. All staff first class. Although the location is just off 5th Avenue the rooms are very quiet at night. Highly recommended

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
