We couldn't sleep all night because of the noise from the street, no matter the windows were closed.
The hotel is old and not very clean and the air condition was also noisy. The location is central but not pleasant.
Great stay! Close to all the Holiday window decorations, Central Park, Rockefeller Center, and shopping on 5th Avenue! Great restaurants all around here. Parking was conveniently close by. We'd stay again.
Hotel location is great. Room is big and I had a pantry. I believe all rooms are street facing so even at 9th floor, you can hear the traffic below. It gets annoying when a big truck honks at 4 in the morning. Elevators are...More
This hotel was a great surprise. It was the cheapest hotel when we were looking for a place to stay in New York so I didn't expect much. But to our surprise, the room is huge with dining and receiving area. It's like a big...More
Great space, agreed that the decor is outmoded but right next to Carnegie Hall, 2 blocks from Central Park & with a superb deli next door and a fresh food supermarket opposite nothing to complain about - except the cost of wi fi. The Pantry,...More

This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

Hi - I don't remember specifically; however, I do know it was a charge we did not feel was justified and therefore, we did not use our wifi at the hotel. It was in teh $20-$25 range and it was a PER DEVICE charge, not per room. We went to a Starbucks close by when we needed it. We have 4 children, 2 of whom are teenagers and they LOVE their wifi, however, they did not complain about this once, probably because we were out so much. If I were traveling for business and had work to do, this might be a concern for me. For us, it wasn't an issue. Hope that helps.
