My whole family could stay comfortably here for a week! So much space in a nice, clean suite, mine has 3 closets, a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, in the small wet bar. It's close to the metro, Central Park, high end shopping, Carnegie Hall & Times Square and of course restaurants and Starbucks surround the area!

We had a massive suite. Ok so some of the decor is a bit faded but that didn't bother us. It's in a handy location for all of the city with a subway station on each corner of 57th St. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Would highly recommend for value

The location is quite good though I did not manage to go anywhere nearby due to snow storm. My booking was freely upgraded to suite. Despite being an old building, it is clean and neat in decor. The hotel service is good and friendly. Across the road, you can find a big nice fresh market.

Just got back from a Valentine's weekend getaway. This hotel is great for the location, only one block from Central Park and walking distance from Times Square and tourist locations. The room was very spacious and clean. My only disappointment was the staff. Very rude and unfriendly front desk personnel and concierge. No hello, good morning, good evening, nothing. I...

We stayed here for two nights for cheap while on our way to Toronto, CA! NYC was great as always and even better with cheaper than normal prices also, the location was top notch. Really met times square and the Russian tea room which was great also only a few blocks away from central park!

Older hotel but clean!! bathrooms were spotless room did not smell moldy or old due to moisture. I was pleased with the hotel. It was great location as I was just there for a few days so close to all walking distance to many attractions and restaurants.

This was a great spot for a quick trip to New York without the frills. The room was dated but clean. It's a block from Central Park and a couple blocks from Times Square. No complaints but nothing to rave about.

My daughter and I stayed here for one night while in town to see a Broadway show. This is an older hotel, but the room was very spacious by NYC standards and very clean. The beds were heavenly - so comfortable! The bathroom decor was a little dated (which didn't bother us at all), but very clean and functional. The...

Spent a number of nights in the Salisbury on business. Great location for midtown, near to Central Park, plenty of taxis, subway, etc. Rooms are adequate size, maybe a bit larger for NYC. Very adequate number of restaurants nearby. WiFi in the hotel did seem adequate with regard to location of my room, but if that is important to you,...

    Staying in Midtown

    Neighbourhood Profile
    Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
