Loved our stay at the Hilton Manhattan East -- just blocks from Grand Central Station/the subway and maybe eight weeks from Times Square (you're close but not too close to the chaos). Our room was small but not too small for NYC. The staff was great. We had no problems during our one-night stay. Will definitely consider staying at this...

Firstly you can't fault the location, nor the hotel rooms, As a family of 6 , myself and husband had a suite with lovely river views, the bed was heaven just what you need after a long days of site seeing! We where on B&B rate and it was excellent the service first thing in the morning was dive and...

Dear TammyJohnston84, I first want to apologize for the poor experience you had with our Concierge associate and I want to assure you we are looking into the matter to ensure none of our guests have to have this occur to them. I was very pleasantly surprised by the service, value and room size at this hotel. I thought because it was a Hilton it would be a large, crowded, corporate feeling type hotel but it felt more like a smaller boutique property. The room was a bit larger than the typical NYC hotel, the location very convenient to the UN and...

Dear WorldTravelerTodd, Thank you for providing us with a good review of our property. While we are a Hilton we offer a more boutique feel to the property in a much quieter area of NYC. As you stated we have a short 2 block walk to Grand Central and only one block from the UN building. We have just upgraded...

The staff is excellent. Location superb. Breakfast was good. The rooms not so much. We stayd in a 1 bedroom suite and I have to say that we expected alot better from a Hilton hotel. The suite was a bit worn down but besides that it was ok.

The hotel is in a great location with plenty of food options around. A short walk to central station and Times Square. Very quiet and safe feeling area. There was a cute cafe downstairs with snacks available throughout the day for purchase. We did not eat from the restuarant as it was $38 ( without tax) for a small buffet...

Before I booked our eight night stay over the Christmas Holidays I did my research and read many reviews for this hotel. We are not used to paying in the $300 to $400 range per night for a hotel room. Therefore, I was expecting something really special. We were disappointed - not in the staff but in the condition of...

The Hilton Manhattan East is located very conveniently to midtown attractions and restaurants for a reasonable price - lower than any other we were able to locate for that timeframe. Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
