Stayed for three nights in a Junior Suite with a King Bed. The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable and all the furniture was in good condition. We had breakfast from room service each morning. The choices available were something for almost anyone. The breakfast arrived hot each morning. The staff was excellent and very polite. The Murray Hill neighborhood has plenty of good restaurants nearby. We would definitely consider staying here again.
Nice hotel, the kids enjoyed the heated toilet seats and bidet features haha. Room was plain, fridge cost extra, parking is extra but the valet is great, and it’s a convenient location! I liked that the cleaning lady actually came in every day to refresh towels and clean up, most hotels aren’t doing that anymore and you have to constantly go to the front desk for things. Great stay!
The hotel staff displayed the attention to detail and wonderful service you no longer expect at New York City hotels. They actually care and know you by your name. The room was very comfortable as well. Great neighborhood, too. Murray Hill.
Hotel lobby is lovely, Rooms are small and dark. No amenities (bottled water, coffee in the room or lobby). Staff is slow and offer no service or recognition for loyalty program members. Overall experience was very bland.
Due to the pandemic, we haven't returned for 2 years. The Kitano remained as gracious and accommodating as always. Front desk managers Oleg and Jimmie overcame our various NYC issues. The cleanliness of the rooms was nothing short of hospital grade. We were pleased to meet the general manager Mr. Zahran, who proudly presented his establishment. Clearly, The Kitano is a hidden gem, and an oasis of quality and decorum.
