My oldest and best friend and I celebrated a big birthday in NYC! Our experience at the Kimberly hotel was fabulous! We would like to send a special thanks to Dusty the concierge. She knew the best spa, set up dinner reservations and a couple of shows at a moments notice. We received wine with a nice fruit/cheese platter from...

Chose to stay at The Kimberly initially based on the price offered through one of these hotel sites. Was positively impressed though, after check in, by the history embedded in the walls of this well kept place. Former presidents of the US are among famous guests. The rooftop bar also shows intimacy with NY's corporate life. Everyone should have a...

We were upgraded to a one bedroom suite with a small kitchenette. Very nice and comfortable. The concierge, Peter, was a champ. He got us tickets to Hamilton which I could not do myself. The front desk staff was also very helpful.

This was a pleasant surprise for my family of five (5). We were able to book and stay in one of the very spacious two (2) bedroom apartments. The rooms were great and the hotel staff even better. Concierge worked diligently to meet our every demand--thank you Peter! Highly recommend for all.

...the rest was passable at best. Heard positive things about the suites part of the hotel, we however stayed in a deluxe(!) room in the older portion of the building, which showed... while the staff was generally friendly, the service level was not to the new york standard i remember(( overall, felt like a mediocre price-to-value experience

We have stayed here twice while visiting my daughter in the winter months (2015). Both times we were upgraded to a suite which was exceptionally large. We love the aquarium down in the lobby and it is conveniently located to great shopping and site seeing. We have stayed at one other hotel after this stay and although it was a...

We (myself, my husband and our 8 year old son) stayed at The Kimberly for 4 nights. Our room was on the 20th floor facing 50th street. It was a nice view although there was a huge crane across the street. My son declared this "totally cool". We were visiting to see a friend who had a show on Broadway....

Overall, this was a very nice stay. The hotel is in a great location, near St. Patrick's Cathedral and Rockefeller Center. We arrived early, and the front desk called us when the room was ready. The room was very clean and comfortable. The one bedroom suite was lovely. Our favorite part was the upstairs lounge, what an enjoyable way to...

My wife and I stayed there recently, along with my son and several friends for my son's NYC wedding. The hotel was very centrally located, the rooms and staff were outstanding and you could not beat the value. You can compare the accommodations here to almost any NYC hotel that would charge twice the rates we paid here, trust me,...

A charming boutique hotel, with fine rooms and wonderful service. Not new, but well maintained. Our rooms were exceptionally spacious and very pleasant. Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

The Kimberly is a traditionally styled, boutique suite hotel located between 3rd & Lexington Avenues. With 30 rooms and 162 suites ranging from 266 to 935 sq ft., we offer personalized service from a warm and caring staff. Most of our suites have balconies, a rarity in NYC and many offer views of the city. Our mattresses are covered with feather beds and decked with Frette linens, which earn comments such as "I didn't want to get up" from our guests. A bonus here, is that in addition to our on-site fitness center, work-out enthusiasts can use any of the NY Heatlth and Racquet Club's 9 locations, including pools and work-out classes at no additional cost and can enjoy a cruise for three hours on their 75 ft yacht (in season) for a fee of $30 which includes a light buffet supper. ... more   less
