I really like this hotel. The staff are professional and courteous and the room was enormous for New York. I would only add that climate control was old fashioned, not automated or instant as in modern hotels. This was not a problem, but it could have been if we had had bad weather.

This is surely a great Hotel. Central located, close to subway or busses and easy to get a taxi. Close to fine restaurants. Wonderful and helpful staff. This is the Hotel I always return to when in New York. Hans

Arrived early hours of the morning after delayed flight. Lovely warm greeting. Reception provided essential info needed, dispatched us to room for rest, and said to pop past in the morning for more detail. It is a bed only hotel, but there is coffee and muffins available in the morning. Reception provided further info and maps for getting around the...

This hotel is priced right and a good location. I took the train from JFK to Penn Station, and walked to the hotel. Walk to Times Square, Theater District. Only downside no onsite restaurant but they offer continental breakfast in the lobby and a nice Irish Pub is a block away.

Stayed here for three nights, nice clean hotel but it was very basic. Very good location. What I thought was very bizzare is that my contraceptive pill went missing out of the bathroom (in my toiletries bag) on the second day after the room had been cleaned??

My wife an I spent 3 nights here over the Christmas holidays. Our room was large; warm and a had a comfy bed. The bathroom was dated, but functional. The hotel is just off 5th avenue and two blocks from the Empire State Building. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel has a beautiful foyer and offers luggage...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Wolcott Hotel. The staff is great, the location was perfect for us, the facilities are spotlessly clean and well-kept, and the beds are extremely comfortable. The lobby alone has to be seen and ask to see the ballroom that is used for movie shoots.Although there is no mini fridge or coffee maker in...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
