The hotel is perfectly located. Rooms are a bit dated and not everything works but it does the job. The hotel is pretty noisy, so you hear other rooms a bit too good from time to time. However would recommend it for the location and if you are around for business and want a decent price pointZ

The hotel is a standard mid market business hotel with small rooms. In the middle of multiple other buildings, there are no views. I had a top floor room overlooking some office buildings. The hotel does not have a pool, as most Manhattan hotels do not have pools. They do have a small gym in basement. The hotel is attached to a restaurant bar. Also, there is a small plaza in front of hotel to sit and relax.(since the lobby is tiny) My expectations were to have a clean and comfortable room and I was satisfied. Basic décor. Small bathroom with shower. Wifi was ok with multiple devices. Good housekeeping with free bottled water everyday. Starbucks nearby and Fulton subway close by. Location was good for sightseeing. $50 Uber from LaGuardia. I did have breakfast, limited to 4 menu options, basic but good, Service was prompt. Restaurant dinning room is dark. Finally the best part. Each and every interaction with the front desk Ladies was outstanding. Very friendly and professional. They seem like they enjoy their job. Like I said, satisfied with a clean and comfortable mid level basic business hotel.

Got to the hotel late at night and there was no one to check us into the hotel. When someone finally arrived they said that they were updating their systems so we had to wait in the lobby for a half an hour instead of being checked in and going to sleep. The person at the front desk was incredibly rude and did not try any workarounds. In the morning I spoke with the hotel and they offered us 25% off of 1 night of our stay even though we were staying for 6 nights. This offer was in my opinion completely ridiculous. I decided to check out after one night. They offered to refund 5 of the 6 nights but I had to pay for my one-night terrible experience. This hotel was rude and awful and an embarrassment to the Marriott/Sheraton brand. I plan on disputing the one night they charged me.

I had a very poor experience staying here. Firstly, I arrived in the room upon check-in with wet towels on the sink and the carpet was stained with some white liquid — both of which I complained about to the concierge. They offered to change my room but they were only able to offer a smaller room than I currently had without offering a lower nightly rate so I refused. The dispensers in the bathroom that were labelled “Shampoo”, “Body Wash” and “Conditioner” all had the same product. I had asked the concierge if it was supposedly like that and they said no so they had called up housekeeping to fix it. As the staff came in, I was told that they were all supposed to be the same. The inconsistency is unacceptable as well as the quality of the toiletries/products provided. Most hotels would at least have a separate conditioner. On my second night, the heaters seemed to stop working so I was shivering all day. I had called to complain about it and they sent in an engineer to reset the system. The next day, it stopped working again. The shower took 5 minutes to heat up too. They had to call in the engineer almost everyday until I had grown tired of it and just slept in a cold room. Lastly, there was hair in the cups that they provided in the bathroom. This is absolutely not the kind of service I was expecting from the hotel as I have stayed in previous Marriott properties with decent to excellent experiences. The poor hygiene is just also very unacceptable.

Strangely thin soups and make up cleansing wipes made me wonder if it really was a sister of Sheraton. Tiring a little, but a decent shelter for some people. You get what you paid for and something strange that you never want. Not sure if it’s pandemic . It was not easy to get around. Somehow I kept getting tired and distracted the whole time. Again, I felt uncomfortable about the wipes and soups. They might have downloaded them but it was disappointing to have to see those ready at the sink.

The room was dusty af, the sheets were stained. When I got to the desk MARLENA was very rude and screamed at us. If you can't talk to guests then I recommend you work somewhere else. This place is a dump and you can really feel that the staff doesn't want to do their jobs here. Book someplace else guys

We recently took a mini family vacation to NYC and booked two rooms at the Four Points by Sheraton Downtown. BIG MISTAKE. While one of our rooms was OK the other was TERRIBLE. The air conditioning in the room didn't work and after four requests to the front desk personnel and two nights of sleeplessness, we still didn't have a resolution. The air conditioner was literally frozen and would not cool the room. This was a hot weekend in NYC and we could not get our room below 82 degrees. After they FINALLY replaced the frozen filter the unit still did not cool the room and now rattled so loudly that even if we were able to rest with the oppressive heat there was no way we could sleep with all of the noise. Each time we would call or visit the front desk the only reply we received were blank stares and "sorry's" from the personnel. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

I COULD NOT STAY THE NIGHT HERE. As I went to take a shower I discovered every towel was stained with what looked like either excrement or human ejaculate. Immediately I complained to night manager and requested fresh towels. but the fresh ones - that came from the laundry service were also stained. The bed sheets had a hole were threadbare and the curtains were also stained. In normal times this is unacceptable. However in a time of a Pandemic it is all the more upsetting. This hotel is obviously not holding to even basic hygienic standards. I did place a written complaint to Marriott Corporate Sheraton Corporate and to the hotel Management itself. I am comptemplating a formal complaint to the NYC dept of health as I work in heathcare and feel this could be public health risk.
