Chic hotel, but the room was SMALL!! We had a King bed. Room size was maybe 200 sq ft at the most. Upon entering the room, I thought OMG, I have to go down the hall for the bathroom. As we closed the door, the entrance to the bathroom was behind the door. No closet, No dresser. Hanging bar over...

First off if you've never been to NYC before and are walking to the hotel just beware its not the easiest place to find. Signage is there but doesn't really jump out at you. Our room was nice, not huge but pretty much in line with the size we've come to expect when traveling in large cities like this one....

I was greeted with a warm hug by Patrick, the concierge, who I had emailed before I arrived asking him advice & questions in relation to my stay. He couldn't have been more helpful and made our stay in New York the best ever! Yes, the hotel room might be abit small, but you are in New York after all...

We spend 5 nights here on the lead up to Christmas. The only good thing about this hotel is the location. On arrival we had asked to pay upfront for our stay. This was no problem but then without asking $200 extra was taking as a deposit from our account. Now I dont mind doing this, but the lady on...

My husband and I recently stayed here over the Christmas period for 7 nights. This would have to be the WORST hotel we have ever stayed at. Our room was so small that you could not even open a suitcase or have any room to move. It was like staying in a closet. After talking to the concierge about getting...

We stayed 2 nights the week after Christmas to see Broadway shows. The location was great - just 2 blocks from the TKTS booth. It is very dark - everything black with accents of silver or white. Hallways are narrow. Our room overlooked an alley. The room (superior queen) was small (it is NYC) with just enough room to walk...

This was our first experience in NY and we were so pleased! The hotel is a boutique style with upscale decor and great customer service!! We highly recommend it for couples, no rooms available for parties of more than 3. Great location!!!

I never leave bad reviews but this is justified. Waited for 30 min because they could not find our reservations. We booked directly through the hotel via phone hours before arrival. Because of the mixup (and because I think they offer on all booking sites) we were promised a bottle of wine to be sent up to the room. That...

Nice place to stay in New York. The location is really great, everything is near, the hotel is clean and safe and the parking is not too expensive. The only thing i would like to have in our room is a cofee maker. Rooms are a bit small, but for the location it's not a surprise.

We arrived 25th November to average welcome, just asked for name very basic welcome. Didn't tell us any information about hotel I.e. Bar or check out times. We went up to our room, when entered I was shocked as it was tiny box room with no space to move very boxed in with tiny bathroom. I knew straight away we...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

“Very small room, only one robe. Safe in closet without light which makes access difficult. Great air conditioning during extreme heat wave. Excellent location. Unique decor which is why I was drawn to hotel. We sponsor a student from Kenya and I knew the decor would be appealing to her. Staff friendly and helpful (except not so much the clerk on duty at our arrival) Did not use the restaurant/bar because the pub across the street had a good and economical breakfast.”
