Great location both for convenience to hospitals and for the neighborhood shops and restaurants some of which are open 24 hours. Driving in from the west, it is very easy to find via FDR Drive access to which in turn was straightforward from the Holland Tunnel. Important to us as out-of-towners not used to navigating NYC traffic. The hotel staff...

Located in Upper East Side near hospitals & medical schools - good place for patients, students & medical staff - most rooms include kitchenettes - good for 1 night or a week - I believe rooms are restricted to patients/staff related to nearby hospitals

The people were wonderful. The room was clean and spacious and perfect for the location of the Hospital. However, I was charged for one half of a day because I was discharged from the hospital early- which is wonderful, but the hotel would not accommodate the good news of early discharge. I was disappointed but happy to go home early....

Very pleased in almost all respects the only negative I have is the the furniture was old and dirty The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful in all respects. While not cheap the price was fair for NY

Room was okay, nothing special. It seems like an older facility. and somewhat shabby. The room was very large and had a full kitchen. We only stayed one night but I could see it being handy if we needed to spend more time at the hospital.

Well besides my wife being sick, it was a great stay!!!! Right from the start Talking to Steven on the phone and then Meeting with Ms Booth at the front desk, they were very reassuring and made us feel very comfortable with our choice of hotel. We stayed at a competitor's hotel the last time we came in for procedure...

While I was spending a week at HSS, my wife needed a space to be close for response. Was referred by HSS to your facility advising special rates. We feel that it was higher than expected. But due to the closeness of the hospital, we decided to stay there. The price seemed high in comparison of other on line options...

We stayed there because a family member had surgery at Memorial Sloan Kittery. We had never been to New York city before this. The staff was very helpful giving us information on local restaurants, grocery stores, etc. They also were very concerned about our family member. The room was adequate for what we needed, it was very clean and well...

So relieved to have a place to stay in walking distance to HSS. Rooms are large and equipped with kitchenette and clean updated bathroom. Staff are so kind and helpful. Quiet and has large closet and adequate supplies in kitchen.

EXCELLENT facility with very professional accommodating staff located next to the hospital. Price was reasonable. Several 24hr food (delis) with excellent meals located on the same block.Room was more a studio with full kitchen, than a hotel room.

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighbourhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighbourhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighbourhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
