Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

I don't get it. I see nothing particularly eco-friendly about this hotel, unless old railroad ties and stained floors and carpets are eco-friendly? Not cheap either. Location is good though . Breakfasts in the resto also good and staff are super nice.

We chose the 1Hotel Central Park based on its excellent location just steps away from Central Park, and it’s progressive design and eco friendly approach to hotel life. Staff were really well mannered and friendly with really good energy, the gym was well equipped albeit...More

This hotel is located around the block from the Plaza and JW Marriott and seemed like a good alternative. I would say it is anything but. I booked a junior suite which is a very expensive room and found myself on a low floor with...More

Liked rooms. Very quiet. BUT breakfast arrangement unacceptable... guests have to compete with public for seating. Some desk people very sassy. Confirmation does not give address so hard for first time visitor to find. Bottom line will not returnMore

Not only are the exterior walls clad with ivy, the interior is filled with reclaimed materials, Moss and all things trendy. There was even a tray filled with apples for guests to help themselves. Really enjoyed our stay.More

On the 2nd of August 2017 I sent the following email to - I have yet to receive a response. Hi there, we recently stayed at 1 hotel central park from 20th of July to 25th of July for our honeymoon. We had reserved an alcove junior suite. On the second night we awoke around 3 am to our air conditioning not working. We attempted to use the bedside phone to text for assistance but no one responded. My husband therefore had to go down to reception to ask for help. Someone came to try and fix it but couldn't get it to work, so we moved to a different room in the middle of the night. The room we were moved to was not a suite, and from what I can see on your website was a city king. I haven't received my itemised invoice as of yet. I would like to make sure we were refunded the price difference for the rooms and also think that it is only fair we are not charged for our room on the night of the upheaval. My husband was offered a bottle of wine as an apology from reception, when he half asleep, which he declined and it was then agreed that you would get us breakfast the following morning instead. Again I haven't seen an itemised invoice so I don't know if this happened. As it was such a special occasion I really didn't want to bring this up on our departure and thought it more appropriate to bring this to your attention via email, now that we are home from our honeymoon. I trust that you will look into this matter for me and get back to me. Kind regards, Claudia Flynn On the 16th of August 2017 I sent the following email. I have yet to receive a response. Hi there, I sent the below email 2 weeks ago and I'm still waiting on a response. Can you please acknowledge that you have received it. I expect a prompt reply. Regards, Claudia Flynn I am hoping this form of communication will be more effective. Can someone get back to me please. Regards, Claudia Flynn.
