I stayed here for two months from 9/16-11/16, while working at a hospital uptown. I was incredibly pleased with every aspect of my stay. You simply are not going to find any other place like this in New York, for this price! The rooms were modern and clean (thank you housekeeping!), the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the...

My girlfriend and I needed a place to stay for three months between our lease ending and moving out of state, so we were looking for a fully-furnished, short-term housing situation. The Hotel Alexander wound up being a great fit and exactly what we needed. Not only did the hotel meet our needs, but the staff was pleasant, accomodating and...

Perfect for my extended vacation in New York. Situated on a quiet street near to good restaurants, delis, markets, pharmacies, and other shops. Itʻs conveniently located near the subway station and between both Riveerside Park and Central Park. If you want to get out of the city, car rental is a couple blocks nearby as well as the gas station....

Love all the staff there and a lot of the tenants on long and short stay. Get to know people, they are all great and attend the social events to meet people that is run by the hotel staff. They run little raffles to win absolutely great prizes. Thanks to everyone I had a great time there :)

It is a good enough place if you are not that demanding and needy. Be aware the Internet is awful, the worst wi-fi in Manhattan, but I have to say the personnel is very kind and willing to help. It is a great place for a student, you can have the essentials for a good stay in NYC.

I spent approximately two months at Hotel Alexander and my experience has been fully satisfactory in every respect. The location is spectacular, one of the best areas of the UWS, nested between the Riverside Park and the Central Park. It is also perfectly served by the metro, with a stop of two express lines (4-5) to downtown literally two blocks...

“The room radiator might get occasionally noisy at night. In fairness, this may occur in many New York buildings, which are old, as it is well known, and have similar equipment. If you are particularly sensitive to that noise, you may ask for a room where this issue is not present or it is to much a lesser extent. ”
