I was visiting NYC for 4 days and found this hostel online. The pictures looked great and for the price, very reasonable so I booked. I only wish I'd opted to cancel at a later date. On arrival the staff were friendly but informed me that the elevator wasn't working, which I had read on some recent reviews (how long...

I stayed you for 4 nights as a tourist, wanted something cheap. It is a bit out of the centre of manhattan but has a really good subway station near by that takes you straight to Times Square or all the way down to the Statue of Liberty! Me and my sister booked our own room with 2 single beds,...

Main pro for this hotel/hostel is the location. Walking distance to central park and subway stations. Main con would be the very rude, unhelpful asian male on reception. He seemed incapable of showing any guests any respect and was not friendly or helpful like you would hope for. I'm not sure why he has a job in hospitality. This is...

I really enjoyed staying here. It was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. Since this is New york we're talking about and space is at a premium, you get what you pay for. I opted to book a room with my mom instead of just getting a bed in the dormitory, and I am glad I did. Even though it was...

Once again, Broadway Hotel & Hostel has proven to be our friendly home away from home for our annual NYC visit. This year we made reservations a few months in advance for a three night stay, asking for a Broadway facing room. We got room 424, which was just what we wanted. As usual, the staff was great, the room...

The hotel is a bit old but the room was spacious and clean. I was travelling with my husband and my 6 months kid. There are two metro lines close to the hotel which made easier to visit the city. I loved the location, it is a very nice area suited to all types of traveller. It is very lively,...

This hotel is awesome! From the superior customer service to the cozy room, and the close proximity to everything you need...I highly recommend it! The tv is modern with a whole variety of channels and the wifi is excellent. And for the price? Wow we were amazed! We arrived on 12/20 till 12/23.

Let's be honest, you wanna go to NYC cheap and you can't afford much, so what can you reasonably expect? Not much and thus you get not much. What you get is not unfair, but they didn't do anything to make it a bit more comfortable. I'm talking about there not being anything to hang your clothes from both in...

Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Room is small but served the purpose. Shared bathroom were clean with hot water. There is a common lounge and kitchen near the lobby. will...

I have paid more but never had a nicer stay. Clean and very updated. All the staff were super friendly and accommodating. The common area was huge. We felt very safe and treated like family. Highly recommended. I'll stay here every time I come back.
