Staff extremely friendly, and the room very quiet, which was surprising given it's proximity to Canal Street and entrance to the Holland Tunnel. Best of all was the location, with the Subway right downstairs and walking distance to Soho, East and West Village. It was pricey, but I had only reserved a week prior and it was during the holiday...

Smiles all round - this was going to be a great place to stay on such short notice. The location was handy, the room was not bad for what we needed, but the real excitement happened AFTER we checked out. Upon a random check on our Australian internet banking account we discovered that we were double charged for our recent...

Hotel sits above the A/C/E subway stop at Canal street. Walking distance to Chinatown, Little Italy, SoHo, etc. Easy subway access to Times Square and Central park. quiet area/rooms. "AOA" bar has a huge beer selection at good prices. Friendly staff and tasty food too. Large space is great for hanging out with friends having a beverage

Good hotel-- great front desk and valet. Checked us in early. Rooms are small but not unusual for NYC. Clean, bright hotel with excellent location. A C E line right outside. Only thing that was not up to par was breakfast. Granted we arrived at 9:30 a.m. toward the end, but the buffet was a bit sad, no normal size...

Have stayed in many of the Hilton properties in the Chelsea area and given the great rate we got at the Hilton Garden Inn in Tribeca over Thanksgiving, we decided to give it a try. Rooms were an average room for NYC. We never ended up eating breakfast at the hotel, so can't comment. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very...

This hotel has a lot going for it. The staff were very accomodating and friendly. It's located in a great area with quick access to the subway (it's located outside of the front door). The room was clean and was somewhat modern. The hotel restaurant, AOA, offered a decent menu and beer list with an eclectic mix of customers. Back...

The room was clean. I appreciated the Keurig coffeemaker, though there was also coffee, etc. available in the lobby. Location is great--close to restaurants and subways. Good shopping nearby. Hotel staff was great!

I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Tribeca for the second time. The hotel itself does not offer much, expect off the rooms. However they are nice, clean, not too big but enough space and the rooms with backyard view are generally very quiet. The hotel is ideally located next to a subway station which leads to most tourist attractions....

Great central location in Soho and Tribecca. Many restaurants and bars close by. Subway is right outside of entry. Nicely appointed rooms and attentive staff. Fitness center was above standard issue. Good value for NYC.

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighbourhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
