Great location. Canal Sub Station right out the door to A @ E lines. Easy access to Midtown, 9/11 Memorial, Ferries to Status of Liberty or Brooklyn. 15 min. walk to Chinatown/Little Italy. Walked over Sunday night. Some areas are a little sketchy and vendors try to get you in shops, just walk on. No problems. All of the staff...

The rooms overlook either the Avenue of the Americas (super noisy until late in the evening and early in the morning) or a side street (not much better). You really need ear plugs to sleep in this place. The bathroom in my room was rather old fashioned, bathtub with fixed shower only and torn shower curtain. That said, three positives:...

I strongly suggest you stay at this hotel if you are in the Tribeca area. The hotel room was clean and staff was very accommodating. The bed was very comfortable and bathroom was very clean. The room rate was very affordable.

Great location, lobby is deceiving as it's rather nice although once you enter the rooms you will be greatly disappointed especially at the price! They are old, run down, smell, old worn out linens, uncomfortable beds and very noisy. If you like to keep in shape on the road forget the gym and head outside for a run, in the...

In the heart of the TriBeca area of NYC, this hotel is right on a convenient subway line, close to plenty of interesting restaurants and bars and other desirable neighborhoods. Short cab ride or long walk to the financial district and 911 Memorial/One WTC.

We arrived around midnight after a long flight. The team on the desk were SO friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was very comfortable and the location was a pleasant walk to World Trade Centre south and SoHo to the north as well as being on the A, C, E line to get uptown. Could not fault it and would...

425 DOLLARS FOR THE WORST HOTEL OF MY LIFE. BAD DIRTY NOISY AND NOT HONEST. Sended there from another hotel of the chain for problems with my reservation. Said to me i have to buy the same rate of the other but not true, at the front desk a rude doorman said he didn't know anything about that. Poor room...

For my needs this hotel has a perfect location and is easy walking distance from many subway lines particularly close to the 1 train. Close to Soho shopping, Ground Zero etc. The room was decent size by New York standards and the beds are very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and there if you need anything. There is a...

Great experience at the hotel. If you are not familiar with the area and are riding in a taxi, you need to be specific that you are going got Hilton Garden Inn in TRIBECA. Don't give them the address because they won't know where this is. Other than that, great hotel stay. Clean and located close to World Trade Center...

I checked in on 5/17/15. I was checked in promptly to room 409 or was it 419? anyway, the room is on the "cozy" side but I guess that's normal for new York. The room looks recently renovated and it was quiet. the staff were great with directions and places to go. location can't be beat, the ABC subway station...

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighbourhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
