Good hotel with a good location. Property was clean with very helpful staff. Adjoining bar/restaurant is good and reasonable. Location is walkable to many great pubs/restaurants and bars. Close to many attractions. Recommend this property.

Just returned this morning from a great 3 night stay. We typically stay near Times Square but since it was going to be crazy packed with NYE crowd and the rates were higher than normal we decided to give this area a try. Boy are we glad! This was perfect. Close to China town, Little Italy and the financial district...

Just back from a Christmas break staying here and the location is good with the subway right outside the hotel doors (a,c,e) lines ideal for the one subway train from JFK AIRPORT. The room itself was fine and quite large for New York standards we paid a bit extra for a whirlpool bath room. My only small gripe was the...

This is a great hotel if you are going to New York. When you walked in they had a Christmas tree and was nicely decorated for the holidays! The staff were very friendly and helpful with you. The hotel has a subway station right in front and a couple close to them too. The subway is very convenient and is...

We have stayed in several locations around New York but this hotel delivered probably our best location yet. Immediately adjacent to the subway (right outside the entrance) and on an express stop (Canal) on the Blue line this was fabulous for our needs. The hotel itself was fine, rooms big and comfortable and the kids ate at the in-house restaurant...

The location of the hotel is perfect for strolling in TriBeCa and SoHo areas for shopping and art gallery visits - also great restaurants near by. The hotel is also near by metro line 1, A,C and E lines, making easy to hop on to go uptown.

Was an excellent hotel. Nice and clean and an excellent room rate. Very good staff. Located in the heart of downtown Manhattan. Close to some great restaurants. Short walk to subway. I was on the 2nd floor but barely heard the noise of the city.

I cannot rave more about this hotel and it's location. I stayed here with my friend for five nights in a lovely room on the 6th floor it was so quiet and so relaxing. The location of the hotel is perfect away from all the noise and crowds but close enough to walk to all the tourist sites. I cannot...

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighbourhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
