Hotel Mela is a boutique hotel centrally located on West 44th - close to restaurants and Broadway shows. The rooms are comfortable with all the needed amenities. There's even a gym on the 2nd floor (no time to use it). The front desk staff -...More
This hotel is in a great location to Times Square, Rockefeller center, and Central Park. We were able to walk to all these locations. The service was great and all we're very friendly. The Italian restaurant across the street was excellent as was recommended by...More

Boutique hotels are unique, which makes them special and not for "everyone". Hotel Mela is classy with an understated European hipness. It is not cutting edge nor tacky. It is, however, on the smaller side, but full of quality. The staff is extemely pleasant and...More

affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

They started the facilities fee last year. They all have it but you may not notice the fine print, depending on what site you book on. It is paying for the internet, fitness center and unlimited AND long distance calls, so many visitors from out of the country appreciate that. They get a lot of guests from other countries. If your travel agent didn't tell you they should have. Their own site and Expedia and all the others note the facilities fee.

Hi, They do have accessible rooms, yes! I am not sure what size/number of beds that the accessible rooms have though. Call the hotel directly. Their staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly.
