Things positive about the stay: 1. the location--> in the middle of Manhattan. 2. The style of the rooms. Things negative about the stay: plenty. 1. Bad air conditioning: not working properly (we were in June, very hot days) 2. Breakfast is poor (by quantity and quality) and there is no proper space to do it: milk, coffee, few amounts of...

This hotel is located close to Chelsea Market, the High Line and Greenwich Village. If you want to move around Manhattan by subway, you will find the 14th St subway station very close to the hotel. The reception staff is nice and helpful, but the hotel itself is a bit shabby and could use a good paint job here and...

I visited this place in month of June, when i reached the hotel i was shocked with the ambience which wasn't that great. But when we stepped outside the hotel, then we realised that we made a good decision in selecting this hotel which was the centre point to most of the attraction or places in New York. Metro station...

Stayed here 2 nights 13/06-15/06. After lugging my suitcases up three flights of stairs through hallways that are extremely dark and dingy which a pungent odor of bleach. I entered a room that looked like it had not been renovated for about 20 years, or cleaned for that matter. A lovely notice was left on the kitchen area. A kitchen...

Good location. Small rooms, but okay. Shared bathroom is a little on the dirty side but hey you are in new york so don't complain. This is in the heart of manhattan, great location. Openminded and friendly. Staff is okay. breakfast is bad. But no complaints. Ohw, wear earplugs at night :p

The only good thing about this hotel is its location. The appliances in our room didn't function, holes in the walls were taped up, the floor in the room was peeling, musty towels, window AC units that let in all of the city's sounds, and the room was generally dusty/dirty. But the worst - THE WORST - part of our...

Hello, Please accept our sincerest apologies for the issues you encountered during your stay. In this particular situation, the night auditor handled a confusing issue in our computer system incorrectly and unfortunately clearly did not display the quality level of service for which we strive. We certainly do not take any guest issues to be funny and respond with seriousness...

I liked to stay in this place! Loved the garden!! It's nice to relax sometimes in such a noisy town! It's 2 steps from the subway to everywhere! Downtown and uptown! And from tomorrow there is a juice machine working! :) Thanks to Jason! ;)

Staying in Chelsea

Neighbourhood Profile
Chelsea
Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s jewels when it comes to neighbourhood life. The contemporary art scene is an integral part of the neighbourhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost every night of the week and countless exhibits to explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York City, it’s also a diverse district with a vibrant nightlife scene. The opening of the High Line, an abandoned elevated train track transformed into a world-class pedestrian park, gave this neighbourhood new life as a tourist destination. The High Line provides visitors with a tranquil, elevated space with incomparable views, providing an unparalleled way to experience the city.
