We stayed one week in New York for holidays. We booked nearly one year in advance, so we got it on early bird premises. We learned that the upper floors were renovated, our room was not. The room was clean, but old fashioned. And two times the toilet stopped functioning...not very convenient. Breakfast was not included, and costed $45 per... More

I just came home from a week in NYC. From the time we arrived until we left this morning the staff could not have been more helpful or pleasant. The only downfalls I had with this Hilton were for the price I think you should have a refrigerator and a coffee pot. The room was a bit small but very... More

Halfway between Central Park and Time Square this hotel is well located. Friendly and helpful staff. Good facilities in the hotel - cafe or take away - great selection. Recommend this hotel if you want to be in the centre of things but well taken care of.

Huge hotel. The location is great for a weekend stay in NYC, if you want to explore the central parts of the city. Short walks to Central park, Times square and other sights in midtown. One of the cheaper alternatives in the area, and we got very good value for our money.

The hotel needs a serious renovation. I arrives early around 11am, and was charged a "early check in fee of 25.00 The front desk staff is rude, and they make you feel like you are bothering them. Internet is expensive and shotty. I requested a fridge and was told at check in it would be delivered immediately but I had... More

Location is good but I will avoid it moving forward. There are better options out there. The facilities and the rooms are not terrible. It is personel and the small things where this place lacks. - long lines and sloooow service at check- in (feels like the dmv..) - breakfast place refuses to toast your bagel (cruel..) - $3.5 cash... This hotel was not what I expected. Hilton Usually has Great service this was not the case. It was hit or miss. I would depend on who you talked to. The customer service was poor. Very clean and well kept. Even though Its has its challenges I would stay there again. Location is great!

On my second trip to this hotel not much has changed, but its consistent in everything it does, its not five star but it doesn't try to be. The hotel has some great staff and the located is great with some super restaurants around. Great for a quick city visit.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
