Two adults, 11 year old daughter stayed March 21 thru 25th. 17 floor, triple A rate. We were on the 17th floor with a view of the Empire State Bldg. The staff was amazing, could not have been more friendly, professional and helpful. The room was fairly big, daughter slept on the pullout. It didn't look too comfortable but she...

A long weekend spent with two of my kids (9 and 15) and my parents (in their '70's). We found the location to be wonderful--39th and 6th. Close to Times Square (just an easy walk), but not in the center of it, so we were spared the hordes of tourists and the noise and the chaos that is Times Square....

On such a cold and windy day, I enjoyed the fact it includes a full breakfast. Bar overlooks a view of the hustle and bustle outside without the noise or the crowds. Beds are extremely comfortable and room layout is very comfortable.

I stayed here the first weekend in March. Room was equiped with a fridge and microwave, bed was comfy, and while I had no view I was pleased. Pull out couch bed was awful, back pain city. Arrive at breakfast early or you will miss out. Staff was super friendly and helpful. I paid $204 for each night.

Dear Travelermaddie: Thank you for reviewing my hotel for potential visitors. I'm glad your room met your travel needs, but am sorry to hear the sofa bed wasn’t the most comfortable. We did recently replace the mattresses, but unfortunately you still won’t get the comfort of an actual bed. My suggestion for next time, if you need two beds, would...

I came up to NYC for business in April 2011 and brought my 13 year old daughter and mother in law so they could have fun while I worked. We arrived early and our room was not ready, but the friendly staff took our bags and stored them so I could go to work and they could go to Macy's...

This was my second stay here. Lots to love: great location, spacious rooms, complimentary full breakfast. I arrived on a Friday so I wasn't able to take advantage of the evening reception but at my last stay I did. If it's the same, it's great as well. The location is close to everything I love: Times Square, fashion district, and...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
