Warm and welcoming staff that treats you like royalty! High praise for the staff at this hotel who were so friendly and accommodating. Was given lots of ‘extras’ for our status that really made us feel special. Rooms are tiny but it is NYC, and it’s too bad there are no connecting rooms but it is walking distance to so much, you won’t be spending much time in your room anyway. Kudos to the staff and especially Jeffrey at the front desk.

Dear G6000XObethanyb, Thank you for the fantastic review and for taking the time to recognize our dedication to exceptional hospitality. We are delighted the service we provided far exceeded your expectations, and we appreciate you sharing this experience with other travelers. Jeffrey is truly an asset, and we are lucky to have him. Also, we love when our guests mention how close we are to the iconic sights and sounds of New York, such as Times Square, Broadway, Central Park, museums, celebrated restaurants, and more. We are delighted that you were able to experience many of these famous places while you were here! It was a pleasure hosting your visit. We value your business and loyalty to our brand of hotels, and we look forward to seeing you again in the future. Charles Weed General Manager

Right hotel for a holiday stay in NYC. It just provides everything you need, nothing spectacular though. The room was too small and narrow ( I assume is NYC standards), with little and cornered views of the city. As we gazed out the window we found ourselves in front of the next building's wall. Only moving through the corner of the glass could we get a partial view of the city. To be honest, we expected more for the extra money we paid to get a doble deluxe room with views of the city. It was quite disappointing. Yet, the room was very quiet (floor 27th) and with great mattresses and pillows which allowed us to rest perfectly well. The daily cleanliness of the room was correct, maybe a little short of amenities for four people. Nice restaurant on the 4th floor with buffet for breakfast and dinner facilities. More bakery options were missed. We experienced some problems in the check-in due to a security issue involving our credit cards. It seemed the hotel did not achieve the European standards regarding security in credit card transactions and did not support contactless operations such as Apple Pay, neither. We were forced to apply a security exception in our cards, thus we really reckon it is something in need for a revision and update. Besides, a few authorizations were charged in the credit card during our stay without noticing us first. We have never experienced before a hotel that makes charges previously to the check-out. Nevertheless, at the end everything was solved and we would like to truly thank Charles at the reception for his help, kindness and patience. On the whole, not awesome but not bad; just a hotel on average for a holiday in NYC. Maybe the price was a little too expensive for what we got; there are plenty of hotels in NYC with the same or even better facilities at a cheaper price. We might try any other one for our next stay in the city.

This is my second time staying here. This place is busy! We were there for 5 nights over the Easter weekend. This was a special trip for my daughters birthday and they had every opportunity to make it special….but they didn’t. The last time we stayed was for my wife’s bday and they went out of their way to make her feel special. I love the location of this hotel. Right by the 7th ave subway station. Right in the middle between Times Square and Central Park. We do like this place and will likely stay again.

A great hotel with good views, very very central location, perfect for breakfast in Central Park and near tons of subways. Location greet and room was comfy. Somewhat dated, with brown stains on carpets, plus the lights would decide for themselves if they’d turn on when you flicked the switch. Most disappointing is that the hotel never gave back our holding money for in case we had in the room beverages. They took $140 from us and I’m still waiting…it’s been three weeks when they said it would be three days. On checkout the checkout staff confidently promised that everything was settled, no more money pay, and that the money will be given back in three days. Lies. What’s more frustrating is how tough it is to contact. Ringing from London, the concierge desk never answers. I have contacted through Facebook but had no response. There is no email whatsoever to get in touch either. I think it’s disgraceful taking advantage of guests this way and creating misery to get my own money back. It’s thievery and disgusting, and would not recommend staying here due the empty promises and lack of communication. I expect someone from Coutyard to read this and reach out please, or I will be taking it higher.

This is a cool hotel with a great location and courteous staff. I travel quite a bit for work, and this one stood out with updated rooms, kind staff and easy transit. Centrally located at W 54th and Broadway, you're able to get all over the city pretty easily. Really appreciated how upbeat the bell staff was, and loved hearing my bag handler tell me about his trip back home to Ghana for a month. It's the little things like that that help make business travel easy.

The reception staff is superb! Violeta and Katie made our stay incredible with their attention to detail and warm demeanor. I travel a lot and have stayed all over in NYC even at luxury properties but this is so much better than those pricey properties. You'll have a small room, sure. However, it will be clean, in a great location with stellar employees.

We usually stay at the Row NYC which is bit closer to Times Square. This time we decided to stay somewhere different. It cost $1,524 for 4 nights. The room was modern but a tad dated. It was 5/6 mins walk to either Central Park, Times Square or fifth avenue shopping so ideally situated. The room was clean and good views from the 32nd floor. The 4th floor has a Starbucks and breakfast is $15 each which is good value. The WiFi was very poor though. Had to login every time we got back to hotel. A decent hotel though IMO.

We chose the location. But there is no hotel slippers in the hotel. You should bring slippers with you. There is no drinking water in the room. European plug converter is sold for a fee. no fee was requested in other hotels. The air conditioner in the room is very loud and even though we are on the 16th floor, there is a lot of noise. Only the rooms view are nice

Stayed a weeknight for $230. The hotel was fine - the room was small and clean. The rooms were a little tired. Some of the lighting didn’t work although I didn’t report it. I was also incorrectly charged an extra 50$ after I left, which I had to get fixed. The location is great for midtown - you can walk everywhere - and the staff was nice. I wouldn’t be super excited to stay here again, but I wouldn’t not return either. When you check in, I would ask for a room away from the elevator because otherwise you’re consistently hearing the whirring and dinging.

Courtyard New York Manhattan/Central Park is integrated with the Marriott Residence Inn New York Manhattan/Central Park. In reality they are the same building with just different room setups on different floors. All facilities are shared, including the address, lobby, fitness center and 4th floor lounge/breakfast area. The only noticeable distinction between the two is the separate elevator banks in the lobby. The 1717 Broadway entrance is closed; the real address and entry is just around the corner at 231 W. 54th Street. Not a problem. The hotel is well-located between Columbus Circle/Central Park (15 minute walk to the north) and Times Square (10 minutes to the south). This is a busy, clean area surrounded by many food options in all price ranges, but I found that on the 55th street side of the same block as the hotel there were a number of smaller eateries worth exploring. The hotel was clean and well-maintained. A minor inconvenience with the bathtub drain was quickly resolved, and I never encountered any noticeable elevator delays over our four day stay. Covid- Mask usage everywhere in the building was very consistent. The 4th floor Starbucks and food area were no longer setting out a breakfast buffet, instead it was configured as “Grab and Go” although many were still choosing to ‘grab and stay’ to eat in the nice open lounge areas. Our King Corner room was compact, but still larger then many rooms in Manhattan. There was room to lay out two suitcases, but was surprised to find there were no folding suitcase stands provided. Not really a complaint, but I will observe that paying for a “corner” room may lead to disappointment. Although the main wall window is large, our adjacent "corner" window was maybe 2-3 foot wide and only looked out at the balcony of the next room.
