Exceptional location, very professional staff and the rooms are very clean and big enough for a family of 4 without any problems. My next visit i'll stay with them for sure without any doubts! Recommended for everyone

Had a wonderful time on our first trip to NYC! Everyone at the Courtyard/Herald Square location was excellent. Check in was fast and easy, very helpful with directions and dining tips. The rooms are very nice for NYC not large but perfect for 2 people. Have to say thank you to Jose at the front door, he was extremely helpful....

This hotel is the perfect location! Right outside of the entrance is a subway station and the hotel is a short walk from the Empire State Building and Times Square. I had a few packages shipped to the hotel prior to my arrival and the staff was extremely accommodating.

Really convenient location, especially if you are arriving/leaving from Penn Station. Subway right outside hotel. Rooms are attractive, clean, very comfortable beds. Prices in January and February are super reasonable for NYC. Lighting in the rooms is subdued so not great for reading, but not a big drawback. Staff is very accommodating and helpful- good security and amazingly fast elevators...

My friend and I were in NYC for just one night, and the price and location were right for the Courtyard. The staff was fantastic --- very friendly. I need to give a "shout out" to Yeilly, Jose, and Michael (he may have been the manager on duty on Saturday). They made us feel very welcome. The rooms were in...

Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Loved this location walking distance to Times Square, Macy's and other sites, restaurants and shopping. Super easy subway access right out the front door. Staff was readily available, friendly and helpful. Jose' the doorman made our trip so much more enjoyable with helping us with subway lines, buying tickets and tips. Will definitely stay...

Spent two nights here in January. - The staff were great, friendly, helpful, pleasure to chat to. - There's a place to grab breakfast, Starbucks - it seemed to close around midday. - The gym was fine. A tad warm for cardio, but the cardio was ok (treadmill on far right has AV issues). - The location is superb -...

We stay over in Manhattan fairly often, with our choices based on budget and location to whatever we plan for the weekend. We do favor the Marriott chain for consistency (and Points!) I am always glad to stay at this Courtyard in Herald Square, because the location to shops, subways and restaurants is so convenient. Last weekend was no exception....

This is a great hotel in a great location but what makes it even more special is the staff. We had a few bumps in the road upon check-in, and I have to say, the front desk person and his subsequent replacement were not very accommodating. It wasn't until we met Alaina that we got everything straightened out. She helped...

The location is great, just a couple of steps from the Empire State building. No problem with finding places to have breakfast/brunch etc. The room was fine, a bit small for this type of hotel. Staff super polite and helpful. Fast internet. However, toiletries were replaced only after the phone calls. Other than that - perfect.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
