Great place to stay. So central to everything - Brooklyn Bridge, Chinatown, Little Italy Soho, Tribecca, and situated on Canal Street. Perfect Location. Mike & Randy at reception so friendly and helpful, above and beyond. Definitely highly recommend to stay!
Stayed at the Soho Garden hotel for 3 nights, was a great location, subway was right outside the door of the hotel to get you to Times square and all the other attractions. Room was basic but had everything you need, spacious and clean. Reception...More
Small room, but clean and comfortable. Not in Soho (technically the hotel is on the border of Chinatown and Tribeca) but it's still a good location near two subway lines. Bring your ear plugs if you're not accustomed to the sounds of the city because...More

I stayed here for a quick trip to see some broadway shows. It is NOT in Soho as the name suggests, but the address on Canal Street should let you know it's in Chinatown. I've stayed in this area before, so I knew what to...More

Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where
many Chinatown residents exercise, play games, and chat the day away.

I think it would be fine... Your 18 which is considered to be an adult in the US... When I bought this online I went through booking and they never ask your age I paid with my credit card online right away I've never heard of the rule your asking well at least for the US and that's where I'm from living in the UK... We use to live close to Wall Street so when I hear Chinatown I was worried but it's a cute hotel, clean, our room was small bit in another occasion we got the bigger bed and that room was huge the whole place is quiet even though it's on a busy street... When visiting from another country they may or may not ask to see your passport but I think that's standard though ... Have fun!
Sorry, also no deposit required at time of booking that I know of. I booked through a website(sight unseen) so I paid up front. Good location, close to subways(100 ft.) and taxis out the front door. Car rental really not... More
