I have to admit I do love so much about the Soho House brand, they do what they do oh so well! I have stayed in other Soho's in different cities and in other fab places in NYC, but a trip with a girlfriend for a fun weekend was made so much better by Soho House. The decor, the service,...

It's a masterpiece of understatement and a truly classy act - it just seems to attract a lot 'members' who frankly would be banned from other Soho House outposts! They do it all very well - the rooms are faultless (try room 4!) and the food and bars are excellent - the pool and sun deck are a haven -...

Everything is covered in this fabulous hotel. The small room we had was great, white washed planks on the walls, subtle lighting with dimmers and the Nespresso machine just a few touches to make your stay special. The staff are friendly, very attentive and appear as if by magic to top up the tea and coffee or turn down the...

This place exceeded my expectations! The beds were clean, room spacious and friendly staff. I especially liked the dining area. Beautiful roof top pool for relaxation. I would recommend this hotel in a flash to any one looking for a relaxing getaway.

My husband and I spent 4 nights here and had high expectations...thankfully we weren't disappointed. The service was amazing and the rooms were huge! Pretty impressive when you consider the size of most other NY hotels (even the premium ones). We spent most our time sunning ourselves by the rooftop pool and even joined in with the 4th of July...

I am a member of the Soho house group. This is one of my favorite hotels of the bunch. I was surprised to see they had done a pretty extensive renovation on the rooms. They look VERY different, but very nice. Excellent/beautiful roof top pool/bar/dining area. Club level restaurant and bar has a GREAT vibe. Friendly personnel. We had an...

I went to New York on a 'girls trip' in September and chose Soho House as I was familiar with the franchise from living in London in the 90's and had stayed at the Chiswick residence a few years ago. I liked that we could have access to the club, which for non-models over 40, was a great guarantee to...

The best part of Soho House is the access you get to all the private club facilities. An amazing day spa (Brad is anincredible masseur); sensational rooftop pool (not huge though) with uber cool lounge, restaurant, bar area; huge internal club room- restaurant, bar, lounge with live music etc. There is nothing better than indulging in these facilities after a...

Staying in West Village

Neighbourhood Profile
West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the West Village is one of the city’s most coveted addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture, this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan. Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you stroll down elegant narrow streets with beautiful brownstones. When you need a break, you can always stop in at one of the many quaint eateries or cafes to soak in the atmosphere, or head to the western edge of the neighborhood to enjoy magnificent waterfront views while taking a leisurely walk in Hudson River Park.
