Lets just say that it would have been more comfortable to stay in the airport terminal. The dirtiest place can exist in NYC and other civilized cities. This is that kind of place where people stay for half an hour or less.

In fiction and fantasy, no place as ghastly has ever been imagined. I would rather spend a night in Hades than here. I walked to the hotel from Midtown and as I approached my destination my heart sank as just blocks away I passed the Bowery mission with vagrants and psychopaths muttering to themselves on the street. When I arrived...

Terrible experience all together and oh wow if you're use to sleeping with the roaches youll fit right in, filthy rooms all came with live and deceased roach carcasses, but as a seasoned travel I shouldnt havent expected much from chinatown so I guess it's my fault. But dont waste your money here. Spend a couple more dollars and get...

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where many Chinatown residents exercise, play games, and chat the day away.

I'm fine with a dingy place as it was cheap and had no bugs. All I did was sleep there. It was like a hostel. YMMV.
