clean, professional service and very cozy, a different scale compare to many other choices that could be easily overpriced and unsatisfactory.

The hotel is beautiful and very clean, with one of the loveliest rooftop bars I've been to in New York (especially impressive because of its location, surrounded by much smaller tenement buildings that do not obstruct the view). The neighborhood is very interesting at the edge of Chinatown and Little Italy, and just below SoHo. Marvelous restaurants, the Grand Street...

My husband and I stayed here 2 nights for a getaway. Was very skeptical about staying in Chinatown but loved the hotel and location. Very clean and modern. Room was spacious and clean and very comfy. Bathroom clean and modern. Balcony was amazing touch to the vaca. Being able to walk out and look at the city and have a...

Noisy! Arrived on a Friday night and was given a room on the third floor facing Bowery street, partly hidden by a scaffolding. Monday morning , I was awakened quite early by the noises and talk of busy workers a few feet away. Asked for a more quiet room and was promptly and politely given a fair sized one on...

This newer hotel is very reasonably priced and being close to downtown and the bridge makes travel to different neighborhoods (even Brooklyn) super easy. Only complaint is the bar & restaurant are poorly run (if run at all no one seems to care) and in dire need of a visit from Jon Taffer of Bar Rescue.

Not our first stay in NYC and I took time and effort to find the right hotel for our stay. The location is ok, but the hotel poor. Unfriendly staff, particularly the bistro and bar staff, who were completely uninterested and basically rude. The only happy and approachable member of staff was the maid! Room was very small and freeeeeezzzzzing!...

We choose this hotel for its location, reasonable price and Trip Advisor recommendations. Despite a very long wait (there was no one at the front desk upon our arrival), we were not disappointed. We would have preferred a room on a higher floor with a better view but otherwise the room was very comfortable, clean (Thank you Kumane!), quiet and...

Stayed the 20th to the 24th February. Clean hotel but the rooms are tiny, to the point wear you have to climb over suitcases to get to the bathroom. We had second floor room looking at a brick wall. The sliding doors to the outside leaked noise and the wind whistled through the night. I asked to move rooms as...

Room sizes are decent and the bed was comfy, the floor to ceiling windows are great. The hotel is very well situated in Chinatown in the Lower East Side, close to what little remains of Little Italy and the glorious Brooklyn Bridge. Several subway stops are close at hand. Customer service was typically brusque and indifferent, as seems to be...

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where many Chinatown residents exercise, play games, and chat the day away.
