When I was in New York I've seen lot of beautiful thing like : buildings, houses, landscapes. There is a lot of fast food there, on each street there is at least one. The people there are so nice, more than in France anyway. There, the food is fatty and sweet so it is not very good for the health so I especially ate hamburgers, fries, fish and ships, donuts, ice cream ... If I go back to New York I would like to go to a concert or something, because it sounds so fun. I would also like to visit places in New York where I haven't been yet
We stayed in NY in March 20, room was decent size I would average and standard for 4* hotels. Nothing extraordinary about this place just great 4 star hotel I would recommended if you need nice place to stay in the middle of Manhattan which is in hearth on Wall Street and close to Brooklyn Bridge, reasonable distance to drive to upper Manhattan or I if you are looking for great walk adventure though New York City. Wall Street station it’s just 1-2 min walk.
Clean hotel, room was quite small which is expected in nyc. Hotel is right on Wall Street and easy walking distance to subway and close attractions. Heater in the room didn’t work during winter, luckily only 2 nights here
I think I'll start with the negatives and then you can draw your own conclusions! My friend and I booked this trip to New York, our second together, in October 2019. The hotel was marketed as brand new and was not even opened when we booked, so all the marketing photos made it look fab. The hotel was formerly a Club Quarters and upon arrival it was clear the only thing that had changed was the name, even in the lobby the Club Quarters logo was embossed on the floor. Here's my list of gripes: Only 2 of the elevators worked and for most of our trip the middle elevator announced the completely wrong floor, this took us a while to realise. The room looked like the photos but it was basic! There was no cupboard, just 2 hanging rails with about 8 hangers to share between 2 people. The room was really warm which I had read in a number of previous reviews and the use of the controls were limited, the windy was very heavy to open. There was no safe which I find completely shocking in this day and age. In the bathroom, you had to turn the taps and shower on at least 15 mins before you wanted to use them as the water took AGES to warm up. The plug sockets and mirror were in completely the wrong location for use and practicality reasons, it was all a bit of a mish mash and it would have been useful to have a fridge. The hallway light shone under our door and we had to put a blanket down every night so it wasn't so bright On to the positives: The staff were friendly and attentive and our room was cleaned everyday and some days they left us bottles of water We had a tea/coffee maker The tv had plenty of channels although it would have been useful if there was a guide. The beds were comfy The hotel was in a great location, closest station was Wall Street and within walking distance was the ferry terminal for Staten Island and the Hudson River, One World Trade and Fulton Street station was only a short walk away There was a restaurant linked to the hotel so you didn't even have to go outside They had luggage storage so once we checked out they kept our bags for the day All in it wasn't terrible but it was pretty basic and I think it was falsely advertised slightly. I've stayed in much better places and I probably wouldn't stay here again. Wouldn't say its what you would expect from the Radisson name.…
So glad we booked this hotel. Was really near the subway station, so easy to get out and about. We felt so safe walking around in the evening too. Plenty of deli style cafes and various places to get breakfast all near by at reasonable prices. The room was clean and just what we needed, tea/coffee making bits and loads of toiletries. Staff on reception went out of their way to be helpful. Would definitely recommend.
