I've stayed here twice and liked both experiences. The staff/service has been consistently positive, and the rooms are extremely spacious by Midtown standards (speaking as a guy who's spent the last several months of his life in mostly-Midtown hotels). The combination of location, spaciousness, and solid service at a good price itself makes it worth it. Few potential trade-offs to...

Not sure if i got an updated or upgraded room, i found the king room, quite spacious for a room in new york. It had a little nook with a bar area and a walk in closet. The walls were a bit thin, i could hear activity now and then, but i expect new york to be busy and have...

When I walked into the hotel room I noticed right away that the television was on and I could smell a distinct smell of feces along with the bathroom light on. I thought someone was already in the room. After further inspection of the room I noticed that the HVAC unit was not working in the room and the window...

I have never been let down by this hotel. Its simple older hotel yet spacious and charming. The staff are amazingly helpful from checking in/out, to the considerate and meticulous staff taking care of each room. The location is convenient to just about everything. Mostly , I love the space. If you are traveling with as a family, or with...

Its a hotel, that is located close to Grand Central, Diners, bars. I have stayed here overthe years, but now its getting dated, little things like a broken soap dish, the rugs are beginning to get worn. It needs fresh paint. The staff is very nice, and the place isnt gross by any means, it just needs some TLC. It...

This hotel is conveniently located. The rooms were large but looked worn and dated. Especially the bathroom could use an update. The lobby/bar area is nice and a good place to hang out. I appreciated the complimentary coffee in the morning. We did have the hotel hold our bags, when we went to pick them up the gentleman asked for...

This hotel was in a good location, 5 minutes walk from Grand Central, 15 minutes one way to Times Square, 15 minutes to Empire State Building. The rooms are a good size and were cleaned effectively. Staff were friendly and helpful when we needed them to be. The beds were comfortable as well. You do get outside noise though so...

Check in was easy with the friendly staff, but totally offset by finding the room dirty and the bathroom disgusting. The hotel is in a great location and the rooms big for NYC but nothing makes up for a dirty room, stains on the carpet and a filthy bathroom. Sadly this is not the first time I've experienced this at...

Good sized room, bed comfortable. Mini Bar a bit expensive but not unusual for any hotel. Unfortunately there were no tea or coffee making facilities but apart from that very good. Friendly and helpful staff.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
