Very central location walking distance to a lot of the attractions, room was lovely, nice & clean & we had everything we needed. Hotel offered a lot - free wifi / computer / printing facilities / free water etc. Staff were always very helpful and pleasant, really enjoyed our stay. There was a great wee bar/restaurant facing it we got...

Just returned from a five night stay at the Jewel with my partner and her 18yo son and couldn't be more content. We arrived before check in and though our room wasn't ready they happily looked after our bags and even offered us an alternative room with a lesser view (we of course declined). The room we got (502) had...

For the last couple of years we have stayed at the older Club Quarters in Rockerfeller Center but this year we decided to stay next door at their newer sister hotel called Jewel. Our room was on the fourth floor (rm. 402) facing Rockerfeller Center. Our room was narrow but adequate. Although this was a kitchen suite it had a...

The trip to NYC was a surprise gift for my fiancee. The check-in process was quick and the staff was friendlier than any other hotel I've visited. We were assigned room J1110. I reserved a "view" room but was surprised to find we had a balcony as well. The view was amazing, we had Radio City Music Hall to the...

Property and room are very good. Front Desk is fair: Front Desk is also the Conci:erge. FD had many iPads to loan without charge -- good feature. The battery in each was fully discharged. Gave me an iPad that would not accept a charge. Did not believe me that the iPad itself was defective. Desk claimed I merely needed a...

This is my 4th and final leg of a training class in NY. I stayed at 2 different hotels the 1st two weeks, the Jewel for the final 2. I wish had chosen the Jewel all along. While the rooms are small, they are perfect for what is needed: great location, sleeping on comfortable beds, clean rooms, coffee maker, exercise...

My wife and I stayed there for a night in the city and were overall disappointed compared to the other hotels we have stayed at in the city. The hotel is central to a lot of sites and shopping which makes it convenient and excellent if that is what you are looking for. In the few dealings we had with...

Stayed at The Jewel for the NFL Draft. The location is phenomenal - 1/2 block from Radio City Music Hall! But just as nice was the friendly front office staff - they were very pleasant to deal with. The room was quite nice, not big but not small, and was very quiet. Free bottled water, too! I thought it was...

Check in was easy and fast. The staff was fantastic, and would do almost anything you wanted. Housekeeping was missed on the second day, not sure why but I had to call the desk to have the room cleaned and made up. Also they seem to be stingy on face cloths. We had to ask on multiple times. The room...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
