This was a nice hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is great. I would definitely stay here again. The rooms are pretty small but they are comfortable. We were able to get some work done here too as our room had a good bench.

Overall our stay at the Jewel was fine mostly because of the location right there by the Rockafeller center and close to Times square and Broadway. However our room had a noticeable smell that we could not get over and cast a pall over our time spent in the room. Our room looked out over the exhaust ducts of the...

I have only the best compliments for this place & their staff. Real jewel indeed. Great location, clean well appointed, nicely designed rooms with a very comfortable bed, sheets, coffee maker, fridge, microwave & excellent WiFi. Plus our room had a fear view below. Also a nice pure water machine on each floor. This is a lovely conclusion to our...

I arrived very early (as did a bunch of other guests) and we all were checked in very quickly. Nice staff. Room is very small, but I was only here to write, so the desk and chair were fine. Great shower. DO NOT get a room on the 2nd Floor. It will sound like you are on the street. Loud...

Best location for business and pleasure. Staff is so nice and supper mind reading. They ask want I actually need when I need it. Didn't consider breakfast at hotel and dont have info. Tons of places that serves breakfast. 24 hour Drug store within 10meters. I would definitely come again for business and pleasure.

We spent 3 nights during Easter holidays, The room was perfect with a view of Rockfeller center. It was big enough by New York standard with a sitting area, very quiet at night and with a nice bathroom equiped with a nice hot shower, The hotel is close to Times Square but in a quieter area, the price was very...

For my recent trip to Manhattan, I planned a night's stay at this lovely boutique hotel facing Rockefeller Center. As I checked-in I experienced an unforeseen issue with my bank. Renee and Leslie pulled a rabbit out of a hat, and turned what was going to be a disaster into one of the most memorable experiences of my entire life....

I only stayed 1 night. This place is all about the location, you're a block from Rockefeller Center, down the street from Radio City Music Hall, and just a couple blocks from Times Square. This is a boutique hotel so the rooms are nicely furnished and have some personality. The views were great, the corner of my room had a...

This hotel was great, EXCEPT the elevator! No matter where you were in the hotel you could hear it (like someone jackhammering) day and night! Our first room was beautiful, it had a view of the Rockefeller Centre and St Patrick's cathedral, but it was next to the elevator and we didn't get a wink of sleep! They were completed...

Convenient location, few blocks from Central Park, Times Square, Subway, 5th Ave and much more! The hotel is very well maintained and clean, staff is friendly and rooms are big for NYC. I've stayed in few other hotels in the area but I would definitely come back! Awesome experience!

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
