On a non-chain hotel mood. Discovered this place on TripAdvisor what a great place large room for Manhattan, well done fixtures and room. The staff was friendly and remembered me in the morning, pleasant continental breakfast. Great area near Hell's Kitchen for many restaurant choices.....this will be my new stop when in the city.

Stayed at the Pearl for a quick mid-week getaway and was very pleased with the find. Found the hotel on Expedia and based on the price we weren't expecting much - but what we found was so much better than what we anticipated. The staff were extremely friendly, our room was ready at 1:00PM, and it was much larger than...

What a great find! I stayed for business for 1 evening but would easily return for personal travel as well. Nice rooms, very clean and modern. Soundproof windows (but I asked and was given a higher floor when I booked). Room wasnt available when I checked in (which was approp since policy states 4pm checkin) but they called me on...

I arrived at 11:15 am and asked if I could leave my luggage. Check-in time was 4. They front desk offered to check if my room was ready. It wasn't so they upgraded me and I had my luggage in my suite before noon. Continental breakfast was included. Juices, coffee, cereals, Danish, bagels, croissants and fruit. There was a 10...

After reading mostly wonderful reviews on this site, I was very disappointed. We had booked this hotel for a week in mid October and ended up checking out after 2 nights. Based on the room price and reviews we expected a fairly nice hotel. It felt like we were staying in a Hampton Inn. It was clean, the staff was...

This is a very clean hotel, small and very confortable. We had a king bed with a fantastic mattress, very confortable in a quieter street, meters away from Times Square. The breakfast is included in the hotel price, which by the way was quite expensive, but seems to be normal for the high hotel prices in NYC. Breakfast in continental,...

This is indeed a wonderful hotel, and perfectly located if you're going to attend Broadway shows. The entire staff was extremely hospitable and helpful at every turn. We were able to check in early, which we very much appreciated. I had mentioned we were celebrating an anniversary, and when we returned to our room in the evening, a bottle of...

The hotel is beautiful and modern, with lovely little touches like snacks in the foyer, cheese and wine hour. The rooms are spacious but I'd expect that for the price. The only negative I have about this hotel are the cleaning staff they were quite lazy and rude if you asked for anything. Apart from that a fantastic place to...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
