The Pearl Hotel is located in the Theater district very near two subway stops that service the whole city. It is a boutique hotel with all the benefits you expect, but it offers a good complimentary continental breakfast and wine and cheese hour. Close enough to Times Square to feel a part of the fun, but far enough away to...

Stayed here for a week. Great customer service by desk and door staff. Concierge also assisted in booking trips and advising where to go. Location is right by times square. Rooms are clean and spacious. Continental breakfast included. Also the added bonus of a wine and cheese hour every day and a nice lounge all day with complimentary tea and...

Clean room and friendly staff. Don't expect too much for the complimentary happy hour, though. Small veggie tray and cheese - the celery and carrots were old and I'm surprised they were put out. Not crazy about the 2 wine choices. Otherwise, I would recommend.

Just came from a visit to New York.. booked it at the last moment would definitely want to go back to this place anytime I visit in the future. Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are great and most important is that it is just a few minutes walk away from Times Square and Rockefeller. Just perfect! Parked my...

Front desk staff are very helpful (especially Azi) and doormen are friendly. We have a room with 2 double beds - beds are a little lumpy and they creak and crack everytime you move. Pillows are small and one has seen better days. Bedding isn't luxurious - sheet, waffle-weave blanket and bedspread. It's a so-so room: a little worn but...

Very nice hotel in the heart of theatre district. We moved out of the Sheraton because it was dirty and not good value to be welcomed by the Pearl. Small hotel with great location, nice sized rooms with a decent bathroom and amenities.

I don't normally stay in the Theater District (after having lived in the city, I tend to avoid tourist areas), but this deal was too good to resist - highly ranked hotel under $200 / night! You don't often get a hotel at that price point that has a doorman and such an attentive staff. Will definitely stay again. Pros:...

A great place to stay when going to the city to see a Broadway show. Very clean and comfortable. Wine get together before the show, Continental Breakfast daily and snacks to be found 24/7. The staff is on top of the game!! Had a bit of a problem with a stranger but staff was totally on top of it and...

Stayed in room 202 which has it own outside patio. Since we were there during the bitter cold did not get to lay out on the lounger. Room and hotel was very nice but expensive. Plenty of room for the 4 of us, husband and 2 teenagers.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
