I stayed here one night and had a good stay without incidents. To be honest all I needed was a bed, shower and an iron, all of which was a available. The room wasn't huge but not small either, and everything was clean and in working condition. I didn't test the TV. To my surprise it was pretty quiet as...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 27 October 2016

I visited this hotel in September. I arrived with the flu and felt just awful. From my first encounter with the front desk, I was made to feel very welcomed. In fact, it was not even 10 am, but the front desk agent said, "I know just the room for you." She checked me in early and indeed gave me...

Basically OK. But I hate it when I return to my room late to find housekeeping have failed to make up the room. It was very disappointing that this basic task was overlooked. Rooms are ok, but little hanging space or space to open a suitcase.

Stood here while visiting Columbia University. Hotel looks nice on the outside. My room was a different story. It was pretty disgusting! The cleaning was not done properly for who knows how long. I first noticed the inside of the shower door had marks when it fogged up -- male splatter marks. I'm a female and I def know that...

The rooms are modern, yet comfortable with a nice huge shower. The lobby is inviting with lots of great chairs, pillows, and hassocks to plop down into. A hip bar is right next to the lobby with more great seating. The front desk is helpful and responsive. It is just a block from the Apollo theater, the Red Rooster, and...

The staff was always welcoming and accessible. The room was clean but a bit quirky, kind of like an Ikea showroom. The placement of the air conditioner at the foot of the bed made it a bit noisy at night. The bed itself was comfortable and large. I am not a fan of soap and shampoo offered by dispensers in...

My first trip to NYC for business and stayed at the Aloft Harlem. Rachel Glasby was AMAZING!!! She was so helpful and friendly. Whenever my coworker and I needed directions or suggestions Rachel was the one to ask. She made our trip so much less stressful! Thanks Rachel for all your help!

This is a fairly new place so it doesn't suffer from the issues many 3 star New York hotels do. That being dirt, mold and noise. Very clean, no street noise. The hotel has a lot of fun events in the bar/lobby area on the weekends that attract locals and create a sense of belonging. Avoid the cooked breakfast. It...

Kind of a miracle we wound up here. There are 2 online reservation pages, the SPG one works fine, the Aloft one is a maze of confusion. But calling the numbers for help always made a $40 increase in "lowest fare available" so you gotta do it online for the right price. Anyway am here with my son for a...
