Hotel is convenient to subway stops and Battery Park. Hotel is very narrow - halls are very narrow. Only 10 rooms on a floor or so. The elevators are very small and for someone with claustrophobia they can feel very uncomfortable quickly when people are loading them up. Next time I would ask for a lower floor - so that...

2nd floor lobby. 44 stories. Staff is courteous. Narrow halls. Rooms are small & narrow but clean & comfortable. Bed was very comfortable. Window units for heating and air conditioning. Updated small bathroom. I liked the stall shower instead of a tub shower. Adequate breakfast is included. (Cereal, Muffins, fruit, yogurt, etc,) Parking is very expensive. $60 for 24 hrs....

I've stayed in a lot of hotels in NY. This is the bottom of the list so far... Small room, dirty carpets, old tired bathroom, last occupants clothes under the bed, bedside lamps falling apart. remote control missing and safe didnt work. There are a lot of better hotels than this one!

Rooms were a good size, free coffee, wifi and TV. Bed was really comfortable. Service was good and just around the corner from a number of tube stations. The attached restaurant was good too. Good range of local attractions, pubs and tour buses. The ferry was great! The only down side was that it is a very tall, thin building...

This hotels strength is its location and the Italian restaurant on the ground floor. Reception is hard working but the problem is the lifts and the room service. Room service is at best lackluster and allow at least 10 extra minutes for the lifts. Basically for a 40 floor hotel three small lifts are not sufficient. I was also disappointed...

Good hotel at the right area if you need to stay at the financial district or close to battery park, highways to NJ or the south. I didn't use much of the hotel facilities but what I have seen looks good. The housekeeping is perfect! One comment is that not all the lights worked in the room - hotel staff...

Stayed here for a business gathering in the financial district. This is not a well-conceived hotel. Small rooms are par for the course in NYC, but one should not have to line up for elevators at peak times. Apparently, there are only three of them, and they double as service elevators. Bathroom was tight. Poor value for the price. Had...

This is supposed to be 4 star hotel.. In general clean with some awful exception (see remote contr. photo).there is no even bottle of water in the room, no fridge. It took me literally 13min waiting for a lift when checking out... the "view" I had was a wall of other building(see photo), but I guess this is just standard...

Comfortable living. They do need to put attention to modern environmental thinking though: all the towels and opened soaps were replaced by new ones everyday, which is not necessary, only a huge waste of resources.

If you're looking for just a bed and shower then you're probably fine. But this hotel definitely doesn't cater to the business traveler. The rooms are ridiculously small. There was only space for the bed and desk. The bathrooms were also smaller than normal and that's saying something for NYC standards. Also, found an ant crawling in my shower so...
