Our family stayed here before, but like to try other hotels in the city for different experiences. We came back to the InterContinental because of the location, service, and rooms. The staff is friendly, and the hotel is bigger than a "boutique" hotel but smaller than a huge hotel where you get lost in the crowd. Just the right size... More

For an intercontinental I was disappointed. The wifi constantly dropped. And the second night the sheets smelled so strongly of detergent or fabric softener I actually had to get up and change beds in the middle of the night, fortunately I had 2 doubles and the other bed sheets didn't reek of flowers. Also the hotel didn't have complimentary bottled... More

We spent 8 nights. The beds were very comfortable. We were at the end of the hall, adjacent to a large construction project. There was construction noise during the daytime. Otherwise, the hotel was quiet. There is only room service available for breakfast. The bathroom was very nice. Housekeeping was erratic; cleanliness was good. We were twice left without washcloths,... More

This is a beautiful hotel and so close to everything you'd want to be near in New York. We were with a group of 70 which could have been hard to manage but the staff were very friendly and always helpful. The rooms are larger than the NY average with the most amazing beds! And the downstairs restaurant & bar... More

Location ✔️ Service ✔️ Comfort ✔️ Excellent staff evidently trained to peak professionalism. Floor to ceiling windows allow for spectacular views of the Manhattan skyline from the most comfortable beds of any hotel chain. Bountiful buffet breakfast to banish the most demanding of hunger pangs! IHG members receive free wifi. Great choice for those starting/finishing a self drive vacation with... More

if convienence is important this hotel is on the spot. Steps from Times Square and the Theaters. Right across the street from Birdland. Staff is courteous The only drawback is the hotel retaurant is not open for dinner. there are lots of options nearby but when the weather is bad, you are limited to bar food.

I have stayed here for 4 days and each day I have something to go nearby, like the broadway for shows, chocolate outlets, time square, Madam Tussaud museum, Ripleys Believe IT or Not and so on...... The hotel room is ok but the service is average. The intercom doesn't have room service button. Courtesies are absent and one wouldn't spend... More

Just got back from our visit to the Intercontintal Time Square and found it a very good place to stay. It is well placed to visit the city with the subway close by - the staff are very helpful and the beds are very comfortable - we all slept well! Would go back there again and hope to to see... More

I've stayed here more than a few times, but after a recent week-long stay, next visit I'll look for a better option. Slightly removed from the central chaos of Times Sq., it's still in the thick of things, both negative and positive. (Incessant noise and craziness vs. easy access to Broadway theaters) Paid for a "sky view room," and before... More

We were here with a large group of business associates for several days and nights. Checkin was speedy and efficient. Our room was large and spacious. Nice TV and large bathroom and shower. Cleaning staff was very good and you seldom heard them in the hallways. Room service was also very efficient and courteous. In room dining was a little... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
