Will repeat, great neighborhood, lots of security, clean, organized and accessible to restaurants and public transportation. The view of the World Trade Center is a plus. Last but not least a quiet, peaceful place to rest at night. Carlos PR
This was our second time staying here. The staff is pleasant, attentive and helpful. The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable.Location is great and close to many sites to see and enjoy. The 20 floor Terrace is a great spot to enjoy your breakfast with views to the 911 memorial fountains. Can't wait to come back in the fall again.
I was not a fan of this hotel. It is maze-like, hard to find your room and hard to get the staff to help you if there is a problem. My key card didn’t work or wasn’t set up properly to have the elevator let me off at the right floor and it was really frustrating to have to keep going to the lobby to fix this. The bathroom was the size of a closet and the room was not great at temperature regulation, turning very hot and even after someone came to cool it off it did not work.
I booked a block of rooms for a company event last week. Working with the sales and customer service team was easy. They were super communicative, professional, and helpful. While I didn't stay at Club Quarters myself, my team members who did stay there had nothing but good things to say. One notable point was that it seemed "new." That tells me that everything looked chic, clean, and worked right! I was also surprised at how inexpensive the rooms were, given its great location. Our team will definitely be staying here again for future events.
This is my second time to stay in this hotel. The view overlooks the WTC. It is convenient to subways, attractions, restaurants. The room is spacious by NY standards. The bed very comfortable. The staff very helpful. The hotel immaculate.
The good: for the location, the price is great. Bad: I booked a room for 3--one adult, 2 kids. Room was to have one queen bed and a chair that pulled out into a bed. Room only had a queen bed. When I went back to the front desk, they claimed I'd only reserved a room for one adult so was not supposed to have the pullout. When I showed I'd booked a room that clearly stated it was for 3 PEOPLE, yes one adult but 3 PEOPLE, they said they could give us a free upgrade but we'd have to remove our stuff from the first room and wait until housecleaning cleaned our new, upgraded room. When we returned to the hotel and were given our new room, it was NOT an upgrade, in fact, it was SMALLER than what I'd originally booked --tiny for 3 people--and on the same floor as the first room. Actually a DOWNGRADE from what I paid for. Also, the toilet wouldn't flush well and had a nasty yellow ring around the edge of the seat. …
I have stayed at a ton of hotels, and I have never received better customer service than I did at this hotel. My best friend and I booked here for spring break as a little getaway. When we arrived our bank gave us a difficult time paying for our room. Spencer went above and beyond to help us. I work in customer service, and I wish I could take him home and hire him. He is a phenomenal asset to this hotels staff, when we were scared and worried he did everything he could to help us even though there were other clients he had to help in the meantime he did not give up on us. I have been to New York many times, and I’ve never experienced such a kind soul who is so willing to help others even when it is not his issue or the hotels issue. Spencer I send you the praise of a 1000 voices, you are the greatest employee I’ve ever encountered in a hotel. If you ever move to Georgia, find me for a job. I do want to mention the other staff working that day, while I spent most of my time with Spencer the other staff was amazing too. The allowed us to use their restroom and relax in the lobby while we waited for a bank confirmation. They were kind, and patient with us while we worked out our problem. Overall this is an amazing place that I highly recommend trying it out if you’re coming to NY. The location is wonderful, the staff is wonderful, I can’t speak highly enough about this place.…
Intersects at the sweet spot of affordability and plush. I’ve stayed at many hotels in NYC previously for work including CQ and later stayed here for over a month waiting for my new apartment. The hotel is well designed, modern and somewhat minimalist. everything is clean, and fairly cushy and the views can’t be beat if you get a 9-11 memorial view room. Even if you don’t get one of those both of the roof decks have amazing views of both the financial district and Brooklyn. the staff is much more attentive and accommodating - a rarity in Manhattan - than any of the larger type chains. Arnold, at the front desk was awesome as is the manager Kevin.
I loved this hotel. Great to have some cupboards and a hob/fridge to prepare at least basic meals no cutlery or crockery but Duane Reed sorted that water and coffee on tap and of course the most fantastic location second stay here and no hesitation in coming back
Wouldn’t recommend to stay here at all. Room not cleaned at all over my week stay… covid seems to be an excuse to not clean any rooms in their building. Had to switch rooms twice… plus sockets broken, tv broken, window doesn’t close properly. Basically a broken room. 4 star standard was not met at all… 2 at best… but good luck trying to get explain the lack of quality to the staff
