Recently stayed at the Artezen while exploring the FiDi area. Extremely close and awesome proximity to the Wall Street area, WTC, and the battery. The service was PHENOMENAL. We arrived early and were granted an early effortless check in process with no issue. CARMELO the concierge man at the front door was hands down one of the most professional, friendly and helpful people I have encountered among hotels. The rooms are great, bathroom is extremely nice and shower is A+. We spent too much time eating, so I did not hit the gym but their gym has more equipment and space than any chain hotel I have ever seen. Overall the hotel is as clean as can be, smells great and I highly recommend. I created this Trip Advisor account just to leave my first review. Thank you ARTEZEN & Staff
We stayed at the Atezen last minute because VP Mike Pence took over 2 floors at the hotel we were supposed to be staying at... And we're glad he did! The building is unassuming from the outside and definitely on the "boutique" side, but the overall stay was fantastic. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive anytime we interacted and they went out of their way to make sure our needs were met. They were always professional and always had a smile while still making you feel at home. The rooms were small, but the mattresses were very comfortable. Next year we are planning on staying here again and I'm just waiting for management to call me so I can book my King Terrace Suite for more room next time. Hats off to the staff we had the pleasure of meeting and interacting with- Giuseppe, Javier, Kathy, Michell and especially Carmelo who made sure we got everything we needed and found every place we were searching for!…
We stayed at Artezen Hotel because it would be more convenient to hang out around Financial District and other nearby attractions. Rooms are small but it doesn't matter at all because we are mostly out exploring town. What I loved about this hotel - Service is great and there are heaps of restaurants near the hotel. Our favorite breakfast spot is Toasties just right across the hotel. We would definitely come back again!
I wanted to love this place so bad. It's in the perfect location. The staff was so friendly. BUT.. the first night we got here the smell of weed was so strong on the entire floor we were on.. to each their own! I was cool with it. But it went on for 11 hours! 11 freaking hours. I had a headache was feeling light headed myself. Then 2am came along, the sweet guests next to us decided we ALL needed to party and the music began.. for HOURS.. loud music..No relief. It sounded like I was sitting in their room it was SO loud. Now we are sitting here with a room full of cigarette smoke.. choking on it.. AND weed so bad we had to put towels under the door. Just..... think twice about booking here since it's obviously a party spot and no one cares to make it better. For paying $189 a night for an "upgraded" room and then paying $40 a night at check in to get "upgraded" room on top of that .. I expected more.…
We’ve stayed at the Artezen twice now and absolutely loved it. It’s a lovely little boutique hotel right in the heart of the Financial District, within walking distance to many sights including Battery Park, the Brooklyn Bridge, Wall St. with all it’s historical landmarks, the South Street Seaport, Trinity Church, and an extremely short walk to the 911 Memorial and Museum. It also borders Little Italy and Chinatown, and is close to other trendy neighborhoods including TriBeca and SoHo, and we even walked to the West Village, which wasn’t too far. There are many nearby dining options, with so many offering outdoor seating, and it’s a very safe neighborhood. The hotel itself is pretty new and the rooms we stayed in were lovely, spacious, nicely decorated and extremely clean. We had a terraced room which offered a lovely place to drink our morning coffee and just relax. The service couldn’t have been better, and the concierge, Carmelo, was THE nicest, and the most helpful and hospitable we’ve ever experienced at any hotel. We’ll certainly book here again, as our daughter goes to college very close by, and the Artezen is fast becoming our home away from home!…
