My family and I stayed at the Artezen from May 19-23. The entire team was amazing. From the front desk and cleaning staff to the concierges and Carmelo, you couldn’t ask for a more dedicated crew. We had a minor baggage mix-up as we were going to the airport and they rectified it immediately. Great location near Fulton and Cortlandt stations. Can't wait til the rooftop patio is open later this summer. Highly recommended!
What makes this hotel stand out amongst the dearth of hotels in Manhattan? 2 things stand out, excellent customer service and the hotel location which makes it easy to use the subway to go across Manhattan and Brooklyn too. The customer service was top notch wherein all our questions and needs were addressed appropriately and in a timely manner. Daniel at the front desk/concierge was a delight to interact with. Housekeeping and room services was also very good and no complaints there. Location wise.... NYSE, Wall street, World Trade Center and 9/11 memorial and all of lower Manhattan/Lower Financial district is all within walking distance from the hotel. Subway lines 4,5,6, J, A, C etc. are easily accessible from the hotel via the nearby subway stations. Room size? decent room size as per NY standards.…
Very clean (room made up every day and fresh towels), enthusiastic staff (even housekeeping) made us feel welcome. Nice size room (appx 180 Sq ft including bathroom) for Manhattan. Walk in shower, rain head and wand. Frette linens and nice towels. Comfy bed. Easy access to all subways, ferries. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. 2elevators, both very fast. Mini fridge. Pharmacy, Thai, pub, and market within100 feet of hotel. Restaurant coming in August. Very quiet, 5 rooms per floor, never heard neighbors.
The Artezen is a quiet oasis in the city. You will feel refreshed after staying there. The rooms are finely appointed and the staff is very nice. The snacks in the room are great too. I strongly recommend this boutique hotel.
Artezen hotel is very clean, nicely furnished, has great shower, excellent beds and is located in the heart of the financial district. The most distinguishing aspect of the Artezen are the Doorman/Concierge. They were exceptionally helpful, polite, kind, and professional. Benjamin and Carmello were beyond helpful and kind in helping us to navigate difficult transportation issues, poor weather, etc. They are the best we have ever encountered in NY over the years of our travel to the city.
Spent one night in a deluxe king with my wife. Overall, we had a great stay. The hotel is located on a street with a surprising amount of food options, felt more like the village than the financial district. Check-in was efficient, staff were friendly. The rooms were extremely clean, modern, and comfortable - the bed was great. All in all, hard to imagine doing any better at such a reasonable price point (for NYC)....
Just came back from here, beautiful hotel and staff couldn't be nicer. The hotel is in easy reach of everything and doormen very helpful and informative. Any requests we had were never too much trouble. I would highly recommend it to NY visitors.
Very nice service, location, and building. Their food service menu has decent options and tastes fine, just a bit overpriced for what you get. The doormen are friendly and helpful in getting what you need. They also contract with a dry cleaning service but you have to call it in directly. The 2 waters and coffee I believe was complimentary. They have a fridge as well. It’s super quiet and foot distance to the train station or even just walking to where you need to go (which we did a majority of the time). It took us about an hour and 20 minutes to walk to union square, and 20 minutes from the airport. There’s literally a Duane Reade’s pharmacy across the street and lots of food shops including Dunkin’ Donuts, Carmen’s kitchen, bubble tea, and a smoothie shop, and so much more. The Fulton train station is at the very edge of the block. There was some construction on the sidewalk so we had to crossover but that’s about it! The room was a bit cramped than what we’re used to (nyc life).…
Best hotel I have ever stayed in in NYC. I will stay here every time I go. The room was immaculate and they cleaned it every day if you so desired. The hotel arranged everything we needed (taxi's, etc.) and even provided free umbrellas during rainy days. The location is perfect with easy access to the subway to get anywhere that you need to go. Stay here!
I stayed here one night for business. The staff was very nice -- from the moment I arrived until the moment that I departed. My room was small -- as is so often the case in Manhattan -- but it was well designed and in very good condition. I would stay here again if I had a reason to be in that part of the city.
