Always reliable- nice location - access to shopping, Time Square, Madison Square Garden. Clean rooms and friendly staff - good value. The location near the Javitz Center is convenient - within walking distance.

We stayed at a couple of hotels while competing in the New York marathon. This was the best located and best value for money. The room was clean and comfortable with free wifi. It is located close to Times Square and the theatres and a subway station. The free breakfast was ok providing a range of different selections but I...

Hotels in the city can be hit or miss. We've stayed at this Hampton Inn a few times and it has always been a very good experience. Definitely recommend for walking distance to Penn Station and Times Square and Theater District

The staff at this Hampton Inn were ALL polite and helpful. The employees at the check in counter were friendly and accommodating. For this reason alone, I would stay there again. They helped with directions and suggestions on where to go. The rooms were so-so, but the views were breathtaking (we overlooked the Empire State Building). Breakfast was convenient and...

Good location that's about it. Not what you expect for what you pay. Room was clean - hotel service was good. Had free Wi-Fi and an okay breakfast. Room was very small but customary for New York standards.

After having to deal with accidentally reserving the wrong date our stay at this hotel was well appreciated staff was great. Room was clean not until we notice the mattress having a stain under the sheets but it was the morning after so we just went with it. We were glad to find the room was available. Overall it was...

The elevators were not working properly. We were at the 28th floor. We stayed fir 6 days, the situation did not change during our stay. Even worst we were trapped for more than 20 minutes in the elevator one day.

I have travelled all over the world. Chosen for its great central location, this hotel was a decidedly mixed experience. A very comfortable room (but with a reluctant hot water supply) was let down by repeated elevator delays, below average breakfast, and problems with the internet connection.

Great find for a girls long weekend for the Marathon. Rooms were small (esp c/ three ladies suitcases) but clean, safe, updated & quiet. It's NYC- so we weren't in our rooms but to sleep. WIFI was easily accessible and enough outlets for all of us to charge all our phones/chargers. The staff was very friendly & helpful in answering...

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
