First, the context: I've stayed here several times before and it has never been amazing, but now it's barely a hotel. I'm a Gold loyalty member.

The Downtown NYC hotel scene is far from ideal. I just tried the W for a week and loved it. It is a bit like the premium discount airline: for a reduced services hotel, the W has a vibe and upscale decor charm that is...More

Today, the historic streets and beautiful setting are complemented by museums, countless skyscrapers, and the heart of the Financial District, home to Wall Street and the New York Stock Exchange. Rooms are definitely tight in NYC. Most rooms are in the 300sq ft / 30 sq m size, with the suites offering larger options. That being said, if your daughter can sleep on a rollaway that is an excellent idea. We have found better sleep in our family opting for the king bed with a rollaway, rather than the two double beds. Hope you have a wonderful trip!
